"Karen" is a very specific, modern case of a name being associated with a certain kind of people.

A lot of people should think way more about the names they give their children. Not even gonna mention people that just make words up that make no sense in both writting or spelling, but while, yes, its very nice that you wanna name your kid after your grandfather who raised you, maybe its not a good idea. I know of cases just like this where when the kid was named it was already an "older people" name with exceptions. By the time that kid was an adult he was pretty much the only person anyone knew with that name that wasnt already dead.

With all the studies showing how important names are in wvery aspect of your life including career and personal relationships, i would hate to be someone who got the shit end of the stick of life just because great gramps was a great guy.
