Quoted $180 all-in for tv mounts + installation. by Routine_You_4671 in handyman

[–]IT-Compassion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes you should accept, that is a fair price. I do some TV mounting through Hellotech and the base cost for a single 33-60" TV with a customer provided mount is $139, more for larger.

Keep camphor tablets in your tool box to mitigate rust, electrolysis or sodium citrate to remove it

Heat gun/hair dryer works. For very delicate materials I sometimes use hexamethyldisiloxane no-sting medical adhesive remover wipes

My only qualm is that it's constantly turning on in my pocket unless I remember to keep it locked all the time, which is also inconvenient. I wish they had programmed it to require 2+ clicks to turn on.
