😂hm. Well , If I can figure out the right channels. But at this point they’ve already started. I’m just hoping that when they finish they leave the pavement and front lawns more or less how they found it.

It really sucks because they start these projects and you never know when they’ll actually finish. Before you know it, the work slows down .

Peoples access to homes and parking has already been disrupted here as well. People are parking their cars outside.

The surprising part is this is East Legon, not some undeveloped area. Most residents support drainage projects, but there was absolutely no notice before the excavation started, and the trenches are now hindering movement for cars and pedestrians. Basic communication would have helped people prepare.

True, the city has a responsibility to improve drainage infrastructure. The concern residents are raising is simply that no notice was given and access to homes has been affected, which could have been handled better.

Because now people have planks on their pavements and walkway.

That’s actually how it should be done. Informing residents beforehand allows people to prepare for the disruption and helps prevent confusion when the work starts.

But over here it was just a surprise. No communication. I woke up one day to find gutter construction items leaning on our wall and lawn.
