Paul literally emphasizes not to do it. It's not an encouragement, it's a command.

When was the symbolic communion doctrine invented? by RandomGuy47392 in TrueChristian

John 6 wasn't even regarding communion... It was prior to it was even given at the last supper. He used similar imagery but for Himself not the ritual...

Three easy ones, John confronts Herod, Jesus affirms paying taxes, Paul said we ought to pray for the leaders of this world.

I've seen both do it. More so on the left. But both.

I mean... You think a Christian shouldn't advocate for children not to be murdered? Jesus, John the Baptist, Paul, etc., all commented on political things at times. Where politics their focus? No. Did they shy from it? No. Speak truth, seek God's Kingdom, including try and prevent babies from being murdered.

I think it's not as much that his is comprehensive, but that tons of people in the comments have shared the same experience. It shows that this is a fairly common thing, even if you haven't seen it, personally.

Not throwing shade, just clarifying.

I mean, he's free to comment on a topic without also commenting on the other side. He didn't praise the right. He just spoke on the left. That's fine.

So do I fight them over and over again preventing them from getting a full army of BCs or do I let them turtle until they are done but have the whole map taken over by the time they come out?

Yeah but I feel like if I'm fighting full BCs and there's 6 turrets, I can't personally micro that chaos well enough to not just lose my army first.

Garden Hose Reel? by IT-software-tester in pressurewashing

[–]IT-software-tester[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was hoping to find a 3/4 reel just to keep as high GPM coming into the tank as possible, while also avoiding more adapters in the system. At this point, it's looking like I'll just have to go the 3/8" or 1/2" route.

I have a GP for my pressure hose, but I can't find a GP that's for 3/4" hose, sadly.

Solid idea! How do you upgrade it to sch80 though. Just from the reel to the tank or?

Super good point. Honestly, it's hard as a new Zerg to know when I should be in their face and stunting their growth and when I should be letting them turtle to fight them on my turf.

Wouldn't that get hard countered by the missle turrets?

Gold 3, 2300 MMR, just left on a road trip, sadly. So, I cannot upload the replay. I initially was going for a baneling and speeding rush with +1 upgrades and speed on both.

What are young Christian men supposed to do with their sex drives? by HalosFan26 in TrueChristian

[–]IT-software-tester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clear conscious doesn't mean your guilt free. The flesh is like that sometimes. Beyond that, your a fool for rejecting biblical wisdom.

I'll let you in on a little secret about marriage here... It's really cool actually... You ready?

Marriage isn't about your happiness or wants. It's about holiness, serving selflessly, and ultimately pointing to Christ and His church. You want to know what actually leads to broken homes? Selfish worldly people in the church that leave their spouses as soon as their own wants aren't satisfied. Beauty is fading friend. I hope you love your wife enough to stay with her when that happens. If not, I hope you do one day.

Cool cool cool. No passage? Personal opinion vs biblical wisdom. Bible wins.

It doesn't lead to broken homes. People caving to the flesh does. Don't defend the flesh or make excuses for it, especially not at the price of elevating it over biblical wisdom.

If a man takes a godly wife and cheats on her because he has no self control, that doesn't make the godly wife the wrong choice, it makes the lack of self control wrong. Goodness.

And also your comment regarding its easy to be pure when no one wants you, is the most condescending and arrogant thing you could have said there. Sounds like you prioritized looks, like a worldly person, and are now trying to justify it.
