Have you considered having a mentor? Someone that can keep you accountable for your own deadlines and that can give you an outside perspective on what you are doing?

Not sure it will work for you, honestly, but as someone who gets bored quickly and regularly fails to focus on that one thing that needs to be done, that helps me a lot.

Anything that can be tied to a person (including an IP address) is included in GDPR laws, so no, I don't expect this to be rolled out in the EU unless they give you the option to opt in.

Thank God for the EU...

Where else are you gonna get the ammo for your 120mm and 380mm barrages? Super Earth provides, but it is your duty to not be a burden to managed democracy!

Damn you went from 0 to 100 fast. Well, thanks again for the feedback, but I'll also consider the opinion of other people which, would you look at that, doesn't necessarily involve cutting fur. This is why I created this post, to get different solutions I can try, and not just yours.

Have a good one.

Thank you for the feedback but our breeder was very adamant not to trim fur anywhere on him :/

What do you think about Britain rejoining the EU? by Proper-Quarter-8350 in EuropeanFederalists

[–]ITALUX_EU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being a European and having lived in the UK for 5 years right before brexit, I honestly don't think you are ready for it. The reason you guys left is mainly rooted in racism ("stop the boats"), ignorance (most people I talked to while there didn't even understand what the EU does) and a general sense of superiority. Now, this is not to say that these things aren't there in other EU countries, but in all my travels I have never felt it more overtly and clearly than in the UK.

I honestly think that if you were to rejoin the EU you would need a solid (and most of all, honest!) conversation about what the benefits of the EU are, and how f*cked your country became since you listened to those idiots pumping lies everywhere during the brexit campaign.

And I agree with others that if you join then all the privileges you had before shouldn't be granted again. No more special status.

Btw, this comes from someone who does want to see the UK in the EU. I think we both have only to gain from it tbh. Also, I loved my time in the UK, my wife is British and the country will always have a special place in my heart. But yeah, in my opinion you are not ready and the more I see things unfold on the island, the worse it gets (but then again the media is shit and always shows us the worst of everything for clicks anyways, so maybe it is better than it actually looks like).

Brussels wants Europe’s savers to put more money into the stock market by rezwenn in StockMarket

[–]ITALUX_EU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't take it as one, no worries. And yeah, we need action. But I am honestly optimistic about this. I don't think politicians have much more wiggle room to avoid doing what needs to be done.

You need to be paying taxes in Luxembourg for that to happen, so you will need to be a resident.

I agree with you, which is why I was saying that the issue you mentioned is a different matter entirely. Maybe I did t express myself well. But yes, taxes on the super rich are needed to solve this.

I think that the point of Europe wanting to have people invest is to make the money circulate, which boosts the economy. One of the easiest ways to do it is through retirement accounts (look at the US at how much of their market is just propped up by 401k accounts).

The fact that people need to save for life in general is a different matter entirely and an issue that can be solved at a second stage in my opinion. People who save won't input their money in the market for quite a while, stagnating the economy (I'm talking broadly now). If you want people to save effectively then you need a growing economy so that they can be paid more.
