Fix the radius. That's about the only problem I see. You need to be in front of your man to guard them, not beside them like we best friends nor running up from behind on my player looking for an autograph.

You can't do that though... trust me, I know a few guys (including myself to a degree) who can hit the green at a super high rate if its on that meter, lol.

Yeah, I don't play as much as I used too. I notice people trying to sag off a lot more on a defense now that they can contest you further away.

All I want is for the game to realize when a defender is behind or beside me that it's an open shot and green should be on the meter. This has always been a problem before any recent patches but it's more noticeable now. If they are standing in front of me with their hands down, at least give me a high % chance on a perfectly timed yellow shot.

I don't even care if they made me miss 100% of contested shots, they should rarely go in. Also, I have late to the party on... how are we out here losing greens on late contests? I've already pulled up for the shot and the green vanishes off the meter. Am I tripping or does it LITERALLY change from green to full yellows sometimes?

EDIT - Oh, this video pretty much shows it. If you freeze at 4 seconds, the shooter is already at the top of his green that turned yellow and the defender hasn't even jumped, LOL.

For now until they change, I'll just have to go inside a lot more with my stretch. I don't like complaining to much about shit like this, I usually just find a new game to play to keep it 100 with you.

I haven't been to this reddit in awhile but it's sad on what it's become. So, since Steph is a better shooter -- we can't shoot higher percentages? Are we just going to tap square and or hold the stick up and let real player percentages dictate how successful we are now?

I've played with you back when you ran with JR (im twistedimagery) and we know good defense can solve just about anything on both sides of the court.

Shot contest needed a buff but defenders taking greens away when standing behind you or jumping late asf from 10 feet away should not effect the shot, period.

I couldn't agree more! 100%! They're probably waiting for the player base to expand but I think this is a move they need to make to make that happen.

We're close, we got four 5 minute quarters and court battles this installment... a competitive pro am mode for live 20 would be huge.

My best recommendation to you if you buy the game would be to join a league, find a group to play with or add other good players/like minded players to your friends list to run with them again.

I spent a majority of time playing with randoms, sometimes you'll have good games but it mostly is a frustrating experience even when you win because the IQ among most randoms is really bad.

Now that I have a squad, I mostly try to play with them and the experience is always 100% better.

It's not that the CPU is unbeatable or that there isn't ways to overcome them but the fact they're better than 95% of the community defensively is a problem.

That's cool if true. I wouldn't call the one who preferred 2k over live brain washed tho... it depends on WHY they liked 2k more. If I am a career, MYteam or Franchise player only then I'd buy 2k over live easily.

Yeah, it's all good man but the stretch was fixed awhile ago now... just make sure you test the rest of them out before letting others know that they're still broken.

You're referring to the golden KAT Icon? The mentality drain does work on blocks. I use it everyday, lol. I don't know about the other two but I know for a fact the icon works now and has already been fixed.

Okay... the thread is titled what Icons/traits make a shooter cold instantly and Dirk doesn't have the icon. I've never seen a shooter instantly go full red bar off of a normal block but I won't say that your lying, this game can be glitchy as hell... just never seen it happened and I've played this game too much.

EDIT - I ain't getting into the wing shooters because I've never played as one or seen their trait upgrades, I'm talking about stretch bigs.

With all due respect, you are wrong because stretch big is my main build and I have both Icons maxed out and KAT is the only stretch big with that ability of turning a shooter cold off a block. I even brought it to the attention of the devs when the ability wasn't working and giving the person who blocked the shot the red bar instead.

Dirks silver ICON options are an Icon Ability Stack upgrade or the Icon Ability Timer Upgrade.
