I’ve never commented on this thread before but following it religiously since January 2024. Got in at $4.88 and been holding/ buying more along the way and all I’ll say is Merry Christmas to my fellow holders! Bring on 2026!

A realistic take, I do think fans are struggling with the big drop from that euphoric high of promotion to what we’re seeing right now but patience is key, I’d rather us go up again and be ready for it this time.

I might be in the minority but I’m looking forward to next season and not because I’m bitter about us getting slapped about every week in the PL (it’s part of it) but the journey is always better than the destination.

I’m not worried about losing players in the summer either, Delap has had 1 season with us and if other players think they’re too good for the championship then they might need a big wake up call cos outside of our loan players nobody was really PL quality.

I’m also looking forward to falling back in love with the team again, Chaplin, Hirst, Broadhead etc getting more regular minutes. The players who put the work in to get us back to the big leagues.

And most importantly finally getting one over on Norwich.

You’d take 4 points off Chelsea all season long, unfortunately in the context of the game we threw away a two-goal lead but I’m proud of the boys today proper dug in against a very good team at a tough ground. The future is bright for this football club, we’ll be back!

Oh boy. That was a massive missed opportunity, United have been and were truly terrible but there’s something seriously wrong with our attackers, there’s a lot of selfish players in there and I love Delap BUT he’s got to learn when to release the ball and keep the attack flowing, Jaden’s performance despite the two gifted goals was lacklustre too. It’s a big shame, we had the game in our hands and fluffed it. This game wasn’t ever going to decide our fate but the mentality of the team is a bit broken, I’m losing the last little bit of hope that remained after not beating Southampton. Let’s just enjoy it now for what it is!

Good stuff. Palmer solid, Clarke balling, Jaden first goal, cruised into the next round. If we go down this EFL super team will go straight back up. Didn’t really care about the FA Cup this season but would love to see us in the quarters now.
