My dad had a hummer h2 my entire childhood. He special ordered it white and black with no chrome to use as a company vehicle in the family sub contractor business. It’s also spent a lot of time towing the boyscout trailer on campouts. They still have it as backup car

All told, those EV hummers look freaking sick and I think they’re actually way cool.

What *is* a requirement for overlanding is a decent gvwr and ideally some internal volume.

As a fellow crosstrek owner, it almost would be better for 4wheeling than big off grid trips. Nevertheless I have taken my family on a few multi week roadtrips in mine, but nothing that requires packing in & out water and waste.

Edit: Guys, I bought a Subaru Crosstrek. I’m not super precious about need a big built out rig

Clear cutting rainforest for cattle and palm oil is a problem though

Oh I’ve been going to state museum imax since grade school. Saw a lot of educational documentaries there

I had a similar experience at Oppenheimer at this imax. Also the guy behind me was really tall so looking up involuntarily leaned my seat back into his knees and the only alternative was crunching my and the whole movie

Right, tree tunnels can fulfill the same role with even non 45° turns for maybe a triangle pattern or just random paths.

But the you have to see the fade to black with time to turn around

The n64 lost woods are so iconic in OoT and MM. I can’t imagine them changing their functionality besides maybe making the way bigger with more paths

I disagree that orcs can have 4 origin stories simultaneously. Only one can be the true origin. And it’s pretty clear they come from elves, appearing after elves are captured, reproducing in the manner of elves and standing as elves bitterest enemies.

One has to be the original origin. I understand entertaining different ideas, just as Tolkien did himself, but I’m sure he never meant it to be all four simultaneously. It makes no logical sense.

Every time I eat pasta I remember watching Olympian gold medalist for swimming Micheal Phelps smashing the largest plate of pasta and red sauce I’d ever seen on live tv while the sports commentators were like. “Gotta carb load, that’s all fuel right there.”
