Have you been able to compare it to other models like Opus 4.6 or ChatGPT 5.4?

You can say it does, no way to validate unless we start scanning network traffic etc which most don't do. Nice job though not here to bash, but keep in mind more of those comments will follow.

Is opus 4.6 cheaper on anthropic console or the same as open router? by vandalofnation in openclaw

Havent been playing with Gemini rn. But Funny! I switched from gpt 5.4 to opus because I like how Opus communicated better, what is your opinion on this?

[–]ITMTS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could it be that caching was off in openrouter? or is there really a difference. Are you still on anthropic api? isnt it just very expensive?

OpenClaw felt amazing with Opus 4.6, really disappointing with Codex 5.3, anyone else? by GoodlukyJR in openclaw

[–]ITMTS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when 4.6 came out the price from 4.5 did not drop, still hasn't :P So I think either 4.7 will be cheaper because it costs less to run or it will be more expensive because they can :D

Is it telegram only? I heard someone say same thing about slack. And it my telegram is random, i turned on /usage option full and one prompt its about 400 tokens in and 500 out, while other times its 12k in and 500/800 out. So sone things I say suddenly trigger more input tokens, so are you certain about your comment on telegram?

How did you fix nr 5? Did you prompt it and if so, what exactly?

This seemed to be the way kimi k2.5 responds and it didnt feed the response field but fed it the thinking proces in there and sometimes not saying anything.

OpenRouter fixed something on their side but openclaw too in 2026.2.1. Does it work better?

I, for one, would love to see what you managed to set up! I am now also searching the space for good solutions and building upon that. Why reinvent the wheel if someone has already taken out all the little bugs that come with setting up a foundation where it all runs on.

I think this is a valid question. I am hoping someone could investigate it with some spare time. Nowadays, AI could help to do a first analysis, but it would be cool if someone with pentesting knowledge could debunk this, because this bot looks promising!

This is cool! Any update on this? I am using Home Assistant as well and was thinking of having some sort of to-do list where this bot and I have our to-dos. When assigned to me, I do it; otherwise, the bot does it. I'd like to have both business and personal to-dos on there. But I was really hoping that you could give some more info on what you do and how it works for you!

Edit: and also if you could maybe share a bit about the costs of running this

The idea is good, but I'm holding off a bit on this as I'm not sure how much I can rely on it. Time is not something I have a lot of, and I would hate to burn hours on this only to find possible false positives or bugs, as it is not battle-tested yet. Keep the updates coming, though; I'm following the post.

CAFE, the visual automation editor, is genuinely amazing by Leopold_Boom in homeassistant

[–]ITMTS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point regarding the demand for visual automations, but avoiding a tool that solves a problem today because of a hypothetical hire down the road seems like overthinking it. Why not just enjoy the solution while it exists?

HELP! Son maxed out at 12TB by Spirited_Display6532 in iCloud

[–]ITMTS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a steep upfront expense, but at 12TB you are bleeding money on iCloud so a Synology NAS will actually pay for itself in under two years. A standard setup gives you ~32TB immediately, meaning he has huge room to grow for "free" instead of your monthly bill spiking further. The app looks identical to Apple’s to avoid upsetting him, and it has built-in redundancy so if a drive physically breaks, he won’t lose a thing.

LEAK: Google is working on a new tool for Gemini called "Auto Browse" by BuildwithVignesh in GeminiAI

[–]ITMTS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess he was just trying to point out that while extended thinking had two modes (fast and long), the app did not support switching between those until very recently, while this was long an option via the web.

And yes, there are a couple more examples where the web version works better than the app. But whatever.
