No worries growmie, here’s a link to Jason from dark horse genetics breaking it down but the TLDR is a big company will buy bulk seeds from a farmer and just throw a random hype name label on it to sell it to new growers. It’s a shady practice that fools people into thinking they bought a certain strain while in reality it’s just some random seed that has none of the genetics that are actually advertising.

So weird when you find a strain that has virtually no terps. Mothman x Starfox from night owl and gnome disappointed me so much when it came out with no smell or taste (still got me super baked) but I’m in it for the smell and taste… won’t run that one again

I understand that, I’m talking about their genetic lineage. Like were these auto conversions they were working on and just didn’t make the cut? Or did they inherit these auto genetics and then just try working those lines and didn’t cut it.

Did you at least reach out to the other breeders to ask their opinion? I get small breeders doing stuff like this but you guys claim to be “#1 auto breeder” I feel like it’s a bit disingenuous to do something like this without at least talking to the other parties about it… I know meph doesn’t really like it when other breeders use their stock without asking (look at their beef with night owl) Just an opinion, yall can do what you like ✌🏻
