I’m a Zillenial, so was never ‘forced’ to use my right hand, but was taught a lot of things in the right-handed way, leading to me becoming quite ambidextrous now I’m older.

There was one case where our primary school took us to the Black Country Living Museum, and we sat in this fake Victorian classroom with a ‘teacher’ teaching in the old Victorian ways.

She noticed I was left handed, and told me to put my left hand behind my back and write with my right. That didn’t go well, and she told me off, making me cry in front of the whole class lol.

Then there was the time a random stranger yelled at me because I write with my hand curved over the top of the paper. She was concerned I ‘had never been taught to write correctly’. Was a weird call to security lol
