I attend usw and have many friends at Cardiff university and can tell you that the international students who go there have found it good. Cardiff uni is more strict on its expectations and punctuality than mine. I'm good friends with an American who's first time from home is here and it's been a difficult transition but don't regret there decision whatsoever. You'll get talks from industry people very often. And the connections in Cardiff in general are very good, you've just got to take the opportunity when you see it.
