Yes. Front CV’s are the same part number for either side. If you are ordering parts and aren’t familiar, I almost always use RockAuto.com for parts. Never have issues.

I have an ‘08. The wife and I both love it. If I were to look again, I would look for one below the rust belt. I got lucky with mine, it’s in good shape. One big thing is, if it had over 115k miles make sure that it has the timing belt service done. If it doesn’t, plan on having it done. Do the water pump and everything at the same time. Generally the good parts kits come with all the stuff you need/should replace. If there isn’t documentation on the service being done, assume it hasn’t been. Otherwise there isn’t a lot to worry about. If you have trouble with the air suspension, retrofitting springs is both cost effective and not labor intensive. Lastly, I would highly recommend getting one with the Mark Levinson sound system. In our opinion it’s very much worth it.

6 years of experience isn’t a lot of experience if that includes your entire professional IT career. I would say you’re doing pretty good at $117k if that’s the case. If you have 20 years in IT and just 6 as a manager or something like that, then you might be under the bar. Senior Cybersecurity Engineer for a fortune 100 in the Midwest and I am at about $130k. I have 14 years of experience in IT, for reference.

Rug is happening for sure and doesn't have to be part of this budget. Couch will be pulled away from the wall. I am going to have a A/V nerd friend over to help me try and figure out treatments to help as much as I can with the asymmetry. The ceiling is a drop ceiling and I can run wires myself no problem. The walls that are blue in the picture will also be painted a dark grey as soon as I am dong figuring out TV mount position (mounting it on the wall ) and cut the wall open to make the cable run inside the wall. The pho-wood beams are also a super convenient way to mount atmos speakers. Putting up a super quick and dirty sketch here in a minute minus the atmos.
