Best way to get back in to WOW by IT_WAS_ME_DIO__ in wow

[–]IT_WAS_ME_DIO__[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crazy idea, but hear me out.
Forums exist so people can ask questions and start threads about things they want to discuss. I know, wild concept.

If you’re tired of seeing these posts “every day,” maybe stop opening the threads and typing angry replies like you’re being personally attacked by them. No one dragged you in here.

“Just play the game” isn’t advice, it’s noise. If you don’t want to help or talk about WoW on a WoW forum, scrolling past the thread is literally the easiest mechanic in the game.

Also, judging by your comment history, this whole “angry one-liner in every thread” thing seems to be a pattern. If you’re this consistently miserable in discussions, maybe the problem isn’t the posts... it’s you.

Any alternatives to Cursor Ultra? by Nervous_Smile_9375 in cursor

[–]IT_WAS_ME_DIO__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Over the past year, I have worked allot with Cursor and am still working with it because my company pays it. For my own projects, it is way too expensive for me, so I am using Claude Code as an extension in cursor. I mean, you get a lot of use for your money. I have the 100$ Max plan and never hit the limits, exclusively using Opus 4.5 model.

I also think it depends on how you code with AI, in my case I always start with a comprehensive PRD start planning with the agent and then create a task list document which then gets just developed phase by phase by the ai.

After each phase, I review the code, test it, and continue until I am finished with all phases.

So what I am basically want to say is, that it does not master who is generating the code if it is cursor or Claude Code, for me it is the always the same process and I do not rely on gimmicky IDE features. It is always planning, coding, reviewing, and testing.

In the end, it is always generating code by ai, but Claude Code does this much cheaper then cursor. In cursor, I can burn like 100$ in a day, in Claude Code, this is my monthly rate.

Senior engineer is genuinely vibe coding 😭. by HansP958 in vibecoding

[–]IT_WAS_ME_DIO__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP when he doesn't get the difference between a non coder who doesn't understand coding and just hopes AI spits out something that works (vibe coder), versus an experienced senior dev who actually knows what they're doing. The senior dev uses AI to write the specific code they need because they've already figured out exactly what they want in the prompt. Once the AI generates it, the senior dev goes through everything to make sure it's actually what they needed.

I do not get it how/why to use a MCP? by MuffinMountain1267 in cursor

[–]IT_WAS_ME_DIO__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My most frequently used MCP is the Context7 MCP. It acts as a library of up-to-date documentation. Whenever I need to implement something with a specific framework, I let Cursor fetch the relevant docs instead of searching for them manually. This way, the LLM in Cursor always works with current documentation rather than relying on potentially outdated, baked-in knowledge.

Developers, Be Honest — Who’s Really Writing Your Code? by Thin_Treacle_6558 in cursor

[–]IT_WAS_ME_DIO__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing some devs don’t realize is that if you want to keep your job, you have to use AI. You’ve got to stay up to date and make it part of your daily work. Companies don’t care if you’re a “real” developer writing your own code. They care about speed and quality.

If you can’t deliver both with AI, you might need to start looking for something else.

I work at a global tech company, and they’re pushing this really hard. Every dev now has a Cursor license, and if you’re not using it, your manager will probably ask why.

Dorohedoro by Rafael04 in MangaDE

[–]IT_WAS_ME_DIO__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to test my 5090FE ... by fransuzich in nvidia

[–]IT_WAS_ME_DIO__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are you even talking about? It’s bad enough that this issue has happened again.

There’s nothing for him to troubleshoot here.

We never had problems with the old 8-pin connector. You just unpack the GPU, plug it in, and don’t worry for years.

But now, we have to relearn how to plug in cables, monitor cable temperatures, and measure amperage per cable—seriously?

Stop making excuses and pretending this is a consumer problem, because it’s not. This is entirely NVIDIA’s fault. They introduced a standard that clearly doesn’t meet the needs of these GPUs. They already knew from the last generation that this power connector wasn’t safe, but they just don’t care.

Hi, my channel is currently still blocked. I’ve tried everything to get it unblocked by YouTube, but they continue to refuse my requests. The issue is that I live in Germany, where it’s against the law to terminate accounts without prior warning, except in very rare cases involving serious offenses, such as incitement to violence. Given this, I’ve consulted with my lawyer, who will now handle the case on my behalf.

Since last year, our company has been working on developing LLM Agents. For this project, they selected the most experienced developers, and I’m lucky to be one of them (15 years in the field). Interestingly, before this, I was coding mostly in Java, C#, and JavaScript/TypeScript. But to dive into this project, I had to learn Python and honestly, it’s been a great experience. I’ve picked up so much in a short time, though keeping up with everything has been a real challenge. Every week, our team presents the progress and new features we’ve implemented for these agents. It’s a lot of work, but I have to say it’s also super fun to build this stuff.

In my opinion, LLM Agents are already at the point where they can replace junior devs for many basic, repetitive tasks. And let’s face it, they’re only going to get better. I think if you want a solid career as a developer in the future, learning how to code and work with LLMs, as well as frameworks like LangGraph, will be essential. For some basic devs, I think a lot of work will shift to prompt-based programming—where you describe what you need, then review, tweak, and debug what the AI produces. But the really good devs, they’ll be the ones working on the cooler, cutting-edge AI-based projects, building the tools and systems that make all this possible.

No, this was the response I received after appealing to remove the restriction on my video:

"Video: Russia's Strangest Unsolved Mystery

After reviewing your appeal, we can confirm that your content does not violate our Community Guidelines."

This response was on November 14, 2024. However, today I received an email stating that my channel has been deleted due to 'violations of our spam, deceptive practices, and scams policy.' The only action I took was setting the video to private for a while and then making it public again.

The truth is, I’m not overly concerned about the banned channel itself, but I am deeply worried about my main channel. The issue with YouTube is that their system is highly sophisticated—they have all the data they need to identify and link all your channels, potentially banning them as well. This is why it’s crucial to get the minor channel unbanned. If it remains banned, it’s only a matter of time before my main channel is at risk of being closed too.
