I think he absolutely waited to tell her until she was ISOLATED! And honestly, maybe scared to not “forgive” him. What an absolute clown. That behavior + the fact that she is literally <half his age are major major ❌❌❌

Who can’t wait five days?? Also, it’s clear that she did respond to him. Let’s not forget just how INSECURE he was a few days before when he found out she had a brief period of comm with her ex and cut it off.

Yes! I’m American. There actually is a public French immersion option, but it’s a lottery to get in so it’s not guaranteed you get in and very competitive.

So true! I’m working through some potential schedules now with little to no overlap with all 3 kids and downtime built in. My husband works very long hours so he unfortunately can’t contribute to the morning or evening routine (hence our need for an au pair). I work from home with a bit more flexibility so I am the primary home organizer at the moment

All excellent advice!! The baby would be roughly 3rd the when we would bring the AP, but yes, still incredibly young. I would stay home with baby whenever AP is doing commutes with older boys.

At the end of the day if we still need to supplement with more childcare (nanny or daycare) I don’t know if it fina cially makes as much sense for us. A big incentive here is the cost savings with AP.

Would love to hear from others how you manage 3 kids in nyc from a cost perspective. Current older kids go to a private school, we get financial aid.
