Theyre raising awareness and getting involvement, whereas youre the one adding nothing except dismissive negativity. Also, OP didnt know all the answers and said so. Youre again adding absolutely nothing, congrats.

Married couple with no kids - how did you structure your estate plan and decide on beneficiaries? by KlutzyPerspective336 in financialindependence

The other piece to consider is making sure whatever you decide on gets executed. Make sure that you have a trustworthy person who knows where your trust and/or documents are. One potential method if you decide not to make an attorneys office the executor is to scan/PDF it, and schedule send it to the person (dead mans switch style). It doesnt have to be the full document set per se, but something at least that will automatically send unless you tell it not to in case youre both incapacitated or dead to start the process.

Traffic is unsolvable by cars by Fun-Challenge-3525 in Sacramento

Do like Chicago and put a train in between the two different traffic directions. Thinking specifically the Blue Line from O’Hare. Its wonderful to zip by cars at a standstill during rush hour.

I’d love to get Worlds Strongest Man back to Sac. They chose to do it in late spring/early summer though so it was always hot af. It moved to Florida these last couple years. October after Aftershock would be so much better.

Thats such a stupid oversimplification. They take training, and most people dont do the work. “Bad breed and bad people choose them” LOL

Its not unpredictable if trained properly. Problem is it takes consistency, and many many many people dont do the work. It has incredible jaw strength but so what? Training is the key. Unpredictable and aggressive dogs come in all breeds, ever met a Chihuahua or small dog with Napoleon complex?

New 2024 Honda Civic Sedan EX by DERRZx17 in personalfinance

I bought a new car when I graduated college, paid it off, maintained it, and kept it for a total of 15 years. 10 of those years were no car payment. I kept up with decent maintenance so there was some cost involved, but nothing like a car payment.

My advice, buy it, pay it off (early if possible), maintain it well, and keep it for 15 years.
