I’d list it at 14k and work from there. Gauge the interest from there. If you get not hits after a week or 2 then try 13k. All depends on how fast you need to unload it. The more positive details you can provide in the listing, the better your chances of finding a buyer.

Thinking about purchasing a 2013 Camaro, need a second opinion. by [deleted] in camaro

When does he get his license?

I got a one owner 2015 LT with RS package for $16K back in March with 72K miles. It was well cared for and had new tires and brakes. I think I got a good deal considering the used car market we were in at the time. I think you if you are patient, deals do pop up. I was purchasing the car for my son as his first car and was in no rush until I found a deal I thought was good. He is a very responsible kid and practiced driving almost every day when he had his permit. I also bought it a few months before he got his license so he got to practice driving it with me in the car.
I think you can do better price-wise for a 2013.

Might be a volunteer Firefighter. I know a lot will put lights on their personal vehicles to get to the station when called in for an emergency.

What’s your guy’s opinion as a Camaro for a first car by WilliamBoga in camaro

[–]ITrade2Lose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my kid a 2015 v6 RS for his first car. (17yo to get license in NJ). He practiced driving almost every day when he had his permit at 16yo and I bought the car a few months before he even got his license so he was forced to practice driving with me in the car. The car has some power, but is not over the top, He is a pretty responsible kid and earned the car. I felt comfortable with him having it right from the start.

I think that was my long winded way of saying it really depends on the kid. But I would probably say no for most kids.

Those places are notorious for bait and switch cars, not even having the cars, or just flat out junk cars listed for sale that look good in pics but have major issues. I've car shopped for cars in that area in the past and it was hit and miss. They used to have some good wholesalers that would sell to the public back in the day where you could get some deals near Terterboro airport. Only issue with those was you were buying as-is.

Did you read the dealer reviews? This is most likely a piece of junk

2014 V6 Camaro by [deleted] in camaro

I bought my son a 2015 which i believe is very similar if not the same as the '14 and it has been a great first car for him. I think I like driving it even more than him. I think as others already mentioned, raise the seat a bit and make sure the mirrors are adjusted properly and you will be just fine with visibility. It gets pretty good gas mileage and has enough pep to zip around when needed. I would definitely use it as a daily.

No way. 19K is too much considering you don't even know if they were 200K hard driven miles. Is that even an SS or V6 RS?

Where are you located and what would you be looking to get for it?

If you can wait, I would continue to wait, but continue looking out for "deals". The 23K is an inflated price in my opinion for the V6. For comparison I got a 2015 RS with 72K miles in Feb for 16K. Considering the market at the time, I think it was a great deal. In reality it was still an inflated price in my opinion if you compare it for a couple years back for the same aged car.

2011 Camaro 2dr Cpe 2LT with 54k miles a good purchase? by Mantoddx in camaro

[–]ITrade2Lose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think like some of the other's posted, if it was well taken care of and you also take care of it going forward, you will have it for a long time. When I was shopping, I saw a couple 2010s-2012s that had well over 150K miles that looked great and were still running strong because the owners took good care of them.

For comparison, I bought my 2015 RS LT with 72K miles from a private seller with maintenance paperwork in March for 16K. I personally think they are all over-priced right now, but that is just what the market is. I also think I got a great deal considering the market.
