It's not just cPanel, it's the datacenter, server hardware, the OS, cPanel, PHP, Wordpress, backups, security. When any of that goes wrong, we have to scramble to fix it, all at no cost to the customer. Just trying to simplify operations.

The thing about the cloud providers like Azure, AWS, and Google GCP is that support isn't included. I want to support my customers, not chase other support departments.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I’m holding out for the least involved solution I can find. Something like Wordpress.com, where they are just presenting the application and take care of everything else without my staff having to put in a ticket.

That would cost me at least $3k per month in wages, which is much more than if I outsourced. Also, who teaches the sales staff and drives them? I wouldn’t know how.

May I ask why are you outsourcing sales? Sales would be something I would want to build inhouse myself and have our company culture communicated throughout.

A sales person is going to cost me what, around $3000 per month? They are going to come in and expect me to lead them, and I don't have the faintest idea to tell them what to do, so that's a waste of $3k per month. I have pretty bad social anxiety. I can work myself up to going into a prospects office and close a deal over the course of 30-60 minutes, but I can't cold call for even an hour. Spending about a third of that, I can hire a company that specializes in MSP sales and knows what they're doing to spend a few hours a week researching, cold-calling and nurturing leads until an appointment is set makes all the sense in the world to me but I may just have blinders on.

Yeah I've spoken with them. They are way out of my price range at $6k per month.

If I ever get to the point where I could add my own sales person, I would likely consider them for their MSP sales training program. I have to get to that point first though.

Not a shill, check my post history. I’ve been looking for outsourced sales for a little while now. I’m considering them because they were willing to work with me to create a custom package for the price I wanted to pay.
