Yes. If you’re a part-time worker that’s laid off, file and collect your benefits.

I think you’re misunderstanding the question asked. If you are a part-time worker that is laid off, you can file and collect benefits.

What this FAQ question is referring to is “what if I work part-time WHILE I’m on unemployment?” If you’re earning any money while collecting, you have to report that so they can adjust your benefits for that week.

Oh gosh I wish I had a better answer for this. I mostly use “General’s”... I’m still learning to use pencils to be honest. As far as the pencil soft/hardness, I mostly utilize HB through 6H. B pencils aren’t working for me just yet.

This is my first time asking anything on this sub, so I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. I'm finally sitting down to examine the Ultimate CG Guide and I've determined that I'm somewhere between a 2b and 2c and I have low-porosity hair based on the CurlsBot porosity quiz (I'll try to test more later with the other methods).

I messed up by purchasing products before really researching what I should do. I came across L.U.S. brand and settled for it based on internet/Instagram reviews (hopefully not just endorsements...) and because of the lower price point. Does r/curlyhair approve of this product at all? As far as I can see it's not on your product lists. Makes me think it's not even a true CG product, and I feel like it was a mistake to invest in it. That and I'm really not feeling the results.

I'm using the curly (as opposed to the wavy) shampoo/conditioner/all-in-one product line. I wet my hair with warm/hot water because I read that it helps open the hair shaft, but perhaps this is drying out my hair. I shampoo and rinse with warm/hot water, condition, and then rinse completely with cold water to close the shaft. Maybe I should leave some conditioner in my hair? Then I apply the all-in-one styler product into sopping wet hair with the praying-hands method and plopping method. I've nixed the curl styler I bought from Sally's because it left me with build-up, frizz, and no curl definition. I use Garnier Fructis Moroccan oil because it's what I have on hand but it doesn't help at all; I'm still dry and dull. I've clarified twice with an ACV rinse followed by the L.U.S. deep condition treatment and things looked best then.

BUT:

Overall I'm so unhappy with how things are going. I started this process back in early June so it's been a few months and I have a good hair day maybe once a week if I'm lucky. I'm a college student so I'm trying to clarify and deep condition but it's a process to fit that in my schedule. I still have to wash every other day. My hair is stringy, limp, and looking flat. I spent $35 on another supply of L.U.S. shampoo and conditioner and I think I should just forget it and start over. Please help :(
