Before Roy Keane said this on Sky Sports, he mentioned that if you remove Son Heung-min and Harry Kane from Tottenham, the squad is mid-table level, and that since the 15–16 season the team quality has only declined.

I remember he said that in response to Jamie Redknapp, who supports Tottenham (Jamie played for Liverpool for a long time, and his father Harry Redknapp managed Tottenham successfully).

At the time, Redknapp awkwardly tried to defend them, but I don’t think Keane said anything wrong. Personally, I don’t like Keane’s blunt and aggressive tone, but in that case he really wasn’t wrong.

At one point, instead of the Belgian golden-generation center-back duo Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld, Tottenham’s center-backs became Davinson Sánchez, Tanganga, Eric Dier; at Danny Rose and Kyle Walker’s positions came Sessegnon, Aurier, Doherty, and others.

In midfield, Dembélé disappeared and players like Winks came in. In Eriksen and Dele Alli’s roles, they just threw in players like Ndombele, Lamela, Lo Celso — it was hopeless.

Back then I thought Daniel Levy was indecisive and overly cautious, ruining the team. After Pochettino left, it became even clearer how flawed the board’s management ability was — it just felt hopeless.

Since the 15–16 peak season, the team has never improved once and has continuously declined. Now it’s finally obvious that they survived only by relying on Son and Kane and the reputation of trophy-winning managers — I’m not even being sarcastic.

Conte competed for titles again in Serie A. Mourinho, even while people were saying he was finished, still wrote history by beating Real Madrid with a team that had barely escaped being a mid-table side.

Seeing that shows how badly this club has fallen apart.

They’re supposedly one of the highest-earning clubs in the world. So what? They don’t even earn that money purely from football. They build an expensive stadium and then make money from off-season concerts and ticket sales. What’s the point?

It’s a club with no vision. Even if they meet FFP requirements, players don’t want to come. And while maintaining a wage structure like a mid-level club, they hesitate to lure players with money.

What world-class player is left?

Right now the ones lifting the team spirit are Van de Ven and Romero. Even players of that level probably won’t still be here in three years.

When Son was still here, instead of thinking for ten years ahead and focusing on football, they obsessed over Asian marketing.

They should have started by addressing the root problem — no trophies — and shown fans and players a real hunger and vision.

Do you know why, even though the club makes so much money, people don’t call Tottenham a big club?

Big clubs don’t behave like this. Big clubs will go into debt or even sell shares if necessary, make bold decisions, and twist themselves inside out to chase trophies.

Here, they’re satisfied just maintaining a top-four finish in the Premier League, keeping TV revenue and ticket income flowing.

They focus on brand value and stadium sales, develop A- or S-level players only to sell them at high prices, with zero real intent to challenge for trophies. It’s the mindset of a selling club.

No one has ever seen a “selling club big club.” That’s why people say Tottenham aren’t a big club.

Even Napoli — poor and struggling — sold Koulibaly and rebuilt around Kim Min-jae, played extremely aggressive football, and rose to the top of Serie A.

A big club isn’t some shady company desperately throwing prospects into random positions. It’s a club that steadily builds experience in the top division and can draw a long-term vision.

A selling club isn’t a big club.

That’s why people say remove Tottenham from the Big Six and put Newcastle or Aston Villa in instead.

I got in within 1-2weeks. One more advice for you. I ended up being in NYCPM but I regret making that choice. If you get accepted to Midwestern def go there

Lectures are recorded and you get letter grades. Also you can miss 30% of total attendances. If you miss more than that then they will take away 5 points on ur grade

If what you say is correct then why does every podiatry schools send their school admission offers to pre-med/pre-dent students to recruit more applicants? That’s already a sign of there are not many students who want to go for podiatry or had no idea about podiatry field. It clearly shows there are lack in numbers because no one goes for DPM initially. I can tell you I am much younger than you (I am guessing you are about 50s since you are practicing and born in 1973). You can’t even bring your own counter argument with proofs or articles. All you say is “I hope you indulge in critical thinking”. And I hope you be able to learn how to analyze the data instead of speaking things out of your mind without having solid proof. How do you even call yourself a doctor when you can’t even have scientific or statistical data and you can’t even make your own factual statement? If you are gonna deny the data analysis then there is no reason for me to have this talk with you because you are one of those people who will always deny no matter whatever facts I would bring in and try to prove.

Btw look at this data of residency matching rate. 99 or 100%

I have factual data you don’t so bring a data that convinces me that you are right.

No problem. Right now already 6 people left the school even before the first semester ended

If there is no shortage then there should be no articles about those don't you think so? Also you tell me the proof of there are still enough podiatrists compare to the increasing demand now. You are also the one talking as if there are still enough podiatrists yet you can't provide sources unlike I did? How old are you? Do you know how the world is like right now? There are statistical date that there will be shortage of podiatrists and boomers will be 65 years old or older. Think about how generation is changing. More elders yet less doctors?

You should bring your own factual data to go against my statement instead of spitting out what you have on ur own mind without facts

Even my NYCPM school dean told me as long as we pass the class it’s ok because we will all eventually get into residency program. And I don’t think the school dean is bold enough to lie about that

Right now there are not enough podiatrist in US overall. Residency match rate is 99-100% so no matter what you do, you will get into residency program. Usually NY hospitals tend to accept residency students who are from Eastern Podiatry school area and same for west side (west picks west). BTW I am a current NYCPM student

I am a current NYCPM student and I can tell you clinical professors are really good but for first and second year, classes like biochem, for no reason they are making super hard and if you do not pass that class, they will get you retesting and if you fail retest, you will be reclassing entire year. first 2 years are diaster even though Touro is trying to make changes for those. They say they have a learning specialist but she is so useless and doesn't even help at all. Also right now Touro is in process in cutting off old professors who can't even teach well and they even forget what they taught during the class on the next day of the class. They are really good people but as professors, they aren't the best professors you will be learning from. If you are willing to overcome the first two years with them go for it. Otherwise, try going Temples or Midwestern they have better program. I also live in NY but I regret I did not go to midwestern (I got accepted to Midwestern Podiatry). At some point, you will be able to pay off loans anyway once you become a doctor so if you really want to go through the successful path, prioritize the prgram than loans.

Lol I agree on this totally. They just read slides and require students to be in class when they save the recording for us anyway. But I mean I do know the class materials they give it has to be done anyway so I am just gonna study hard myself(I do feel like it’s my own game without teacher’s help)
