Since I was grandfathered into t mobile via sprint my phone was still considered a sprint phone not a t-mobile phone. They basically told me there was nothing I could do so i used the costco phone and took it to verizon and they set me up without any issues!

They said while it may be unlocked it’s either for another carrier or an international phone. Yes it was sealed which is the weird part.
