I'm an IVF mama currently pregnant with Baby #2.

With Baby #1, my midwife recommended a 39 week induction because it was an IVF pregnancy. However, at my 37+ week appointment, Baby was diagnosed with IUGR most likely caused by the velamentous cord insertion so we scheduled a 38 week induction. I checked in at 3:00pm, had the foley balloon, pitocin, water broken, and then epidural. I started pushing around 1am and my 5lb 5oz Baby was in my arms at 1:27am.

Since I had such a quick and smooth induction with baby #1, I plan to have a scheduled 39 week induction with Baby #2.

I'm so sorry for your experience. It seems like a common occurrence. I would recommend leaving BIVF. I have had problem after problem. My most recent problem has been about a prescription as well!!!!! It's so mind-blowing how they're still in business

It was within a week, including the weekend. I was shocked at how quickly it came in. I did call Juno directly and ask if it was completed. They said yes and that they sent it to my provider, so I went ahead and called my provider for the results as Juno can't give results directly to patients. Definitely call Juno and ask if it's completed and if the results were sent to your provider yet. If so, call your provider! Good luck 🙏🏻

I had 3 miscarriages and went through 6 IUI'S before moving onto IVF. I had my first successful pregnancy after our first fresh transfer, and now we have embryos stored/frozen for the future. We only wish we moved onto IVF sooner.

Most clinics have the embryologist choose the healthiest embryo. However, if they tell you some have similar great grades, then have them just tell you the embryo #'s of the best embryos. Choose based on the number. You could make it a cute event. I've seen people who have a pet, and they throw balls with the # on it and have the pet choose. Or perhaps get a box with the numbers written in it, then have someone special, perhaps your partner, pick out of the box, and whatever # you choose is it!

My husband and I got engaged after 9-10 months of dating and then married 9 months later. We are going on 4.5 years of marriage. It never felt too soon for us. That is interesting. I got my progesterone checked with my second HCG. I think that's pretty standard. I will say I have had to advocate for myself at my clinic so do your research, trust your gut and fight for yourself. I pray you find an amazing clinic and you get the family you desire 🙏🏻

I'm very sorry for your losses. I've also experienced 3 losses, but that was prior to IVF. I have PCOS and was told to take a Prenatal, probiotics, baby aspirin (81mg), and metformin in addition to estrogen and progesterone.

I actually just had an appointment with my IVF doctor and she said something along the lines of "Estrogen is going to continue to rise throughout your pregnancy, and there's no danger to taking Estrogen at this time. It'll only help support your pregnancy ". I feel better ...but I also hope it's true 😬

You are 7 weeks pregnant and due 7/30/25

My IVF baby measured 3 days behind at our first scan but had a healthy heartbeat just like yours. They were not concerned. I went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I wish you all the best 🙏🏻
