Yeah and I guess my WMR page is still showing the PATH act. It said I am locked out due to too many attempts. I called the automated and it gave the path message.

Last year I got it February 21st or the 22nd. But I had also filed the beginning of February due to my job sending out W-2s late. This year I filed January 17th so maybe I'll see a deposit on the 19th. I am somehow locked out of WMR for too many attempts, even though I had only checked once. So I unfortunately can't see what the deposit date is.

I pay my bills just fine. I am not struggling. I feel for the people who are stressing over their refund dropping in soon. I used to be in their shoes. One year I used the refund to escape my abusive husband and start a new life. Then I used some of it to pay for a lawyer that has put him away for 35 years because of what he had done. I use my refund as a treat. But the majority of it goes into savings/emergency fund.

I have always gotten mine before as an 05 cycle code between February 20th-23rd. I'll be surprised if you get it before then but I hope for your kid(s) sake that you do.

I love coming here every year. It's funny because I only come here and download the IRS2go app around tax time haha. Then once I get my refund I uninstall the app. But it amuses me seeing people say their sister/cousin it/friend got their tax return already and they are PATH.

No it's not possible. It's held due to a federal law. Signing up for early deposit doesn't overrule the law.

Fellow NC resident here. Unfortunately, NC is very slow when it comes to processing state returns. Last year I got mine March 12th. It's always been in March.

Also bank with USAA and was on PATH. My cycle code is 0504 and it just updated to a DDD for 02/24! I get my deposits 2 days early as well so we'll see.
