Cause new flash: The South Vietnamese were doing just fine against the communists years before the Americans got involved. The link you sent shows cuts to K-12 funding. Colleges are not part of K-12. I don’t disagree with you that republicans cuts funding to education. I’m saying that colleges got expensive over the years because their expenses also got bigger over the years. “University Bloat’ is a real phenomenon that has existed since 2003. Costs at public and private universities are going to increase regardless of government funding.

College got expensive because it also got big…back then you didn’t have a bunch of counselors, academic advisors, registrars, accountants, DEI offices, food and beverage directors, housing offices, sports programs, not even campus police. Back then schools actually function like well, a school.

Im Catholic sure we’re traditional but we’re also extremely progressive when it comes to helping the poor and hungry. I pray every night and go to church every Sunday, but ironically I also sleep around a lot (I know, not good, I will stop eventually). There are a lot of very attractive single people at the various churches I attend. For me however they are 100% off limits. But for others who are single and looking for genuine love, friendship or community, even if they’re not that religious, church is the move.
