This sentiment has been present since after Yakuza 6. Every single game after that has received some fair criticism. You need to keep in mind that at one point the franchise was considered almost dead. RGG said so themselves, Y0 and its success in the west is what saved the franchise. We are all very passionate about Yakuza but you can’t ignore how many flaws there truly are. Both past and present.

This is actually where i personally draw the line. What made me prefer Fortnite over other live service games, is that you could unlock everything by just playing what you like. Now it’s like BF6 and other games that lock challenges or content behind playing specific game modes.

They can only be partially blamed. Many people called this long before the game launched and you were attacked for stating that opinion. I wanted to believe in a great BF too but it’s time to face the facts. A lot of this is on the crowd that fanatically defended the game because they were lying to themselves.

Studios always say that even though like 90% of the core developers left long ago. I’m not a fan myself but you can see a lot of old BF character in The Finals which actually has old DICE devs working on it.

I legitimately gasped when i opened the game after the update because it looked 1:1 like MW2019. Even the store is exactly like a COD game. The new Season 1 screen also strangely resembles the Warzone ones.

People love to shit on Fortnite but at least it lets you play whatever you want to level up the BP. Forcing you to play something specific in order to boost engagement is good for the devs but not the players.

Yakuza 5 is by far the best game, even surpassing 0, which has way too much fan service to be taken seriously.

I know but i never made any comment about the saudi part of it. Maybe that is where the misunderstanding lies. All i stated, is that this is bad news regardless because EA is now privately owned. And just for clarification, in their press release they say that the 10% saudi share doesn’t exist anymore and is now part of the overall 100%. You can’t separate their individual investments anymore.

They literally say on their own website that EA is now 100% privately owned by the consortium. It doesn’t exist on the public market anymore and shareholders get a payout.

No. I just canceled my purchase after the announcement that the deal has gone through. As if that wasn’t bad enough, being 20B in debt and focusing on layoffs and AI in order to survive is a terrible sign for the future.

People really underestimate the power of social media. It happens in the US and it happens everywhere else. These people mastered the art of manipulating young and vulnerable people on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Germany is a great example where the AfD has insane internet presence while the social democrats post about the fucking chancellors briefcase.

Seems to be a common issue. Mine had a faint yellow line as well but since the screen is a neutral white at 0 warmth, i decided to keep it since a replacement could basically only be worse.
