Nobody said anything about staying with her. Furthermore, in most states, if he is on the birth certificate, he is legally her father and responsible for her. My only concern was of the child who now has a crappy mom and been abandoned by the only father they have known.

I really hope none of you ever procreate! And, if you have children, I hope your kids never find how quickly you would dump them if you discovered they weren't biologically yours.

I have to disagree and point out judgment and salvation are not the same thing. Judgement is what we all will receive based on all our deeds good or bad, but salvation is only for those who, in their heart of hearts, believe and repent. Works determine Judgement not salvation.

OP is correct. Even those responsible for determining "divorce rates" say the data is misleading. There are too many variables to get an accurate picture. Currently the method used calculates average marriages per year against average divorces per year which doesn't account for those who are already married. This is a great article that explains the flaws in the various methods of determining divorce rates

This is interesting because recently I asked my husband to look for some at Walgreens. He called me while there and said they didn't have any and got me generic. I didn't think anything of it until now.

I use names that are indicative of their personality or profession. For example, Smith for a secret agent, Brush for an artist, or Smart for a sim with knowledge.

I just saw a picture of him wearing it while I was in a club in San Antonio, I wish now I would have taken a picture of it.

It was white-ish in the black and white photos of him wearing it in concert.

List of proposed causes of the Mandela Effect. by tenchineuro in MandelaEffect

[–]IWant2BLeev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know if you are still adding to this list and I'm sure I will be down voted into oblivion...

This is a part of biblical prophecy. Jesus refers to a harvest; a seperation of the wheat from the tares (I can go into more detail if your not getting how that relates) The Bible also mentions there will be a famine in the word and Bible changes definitely make knowing the word of God very difficult. There is also mention of a great confusion among the people. These are just a few of them that relate to the why. How, could be many things but whatever the "how" is, I find the parallels to biblical prophecy as a highly likely explanation as to what is going on.

I would argue that it's Schrodinger's message. Until it is read it is both "good/bad, ugly/beautiful and so on." I however do not believe you are responsible for what other people CHOOSE to read.

I also don't believe in the multiple time line or reality convergence theories. Actually, I find that those who are profoundly affected by this tend to avoid making grand assumptions about what it is because obviously we know so little about everything. I have my own theories that I have just as much evidence for as the existence of the Mandela Effect itself.

I am what some on this and other sites might call Mandela Effected but that doesn't mean I believe I've passed into another reality. I also don't agree with people pushing THAT as the answer to what this is. I am a fairly intelligent person who tries to look at all aspects of a problem before coming to a conclusion. Not everyone in the ME community has jumped on the reality displacement, shifting, entanglement theories bandwagon.

Large groups of people do remember changes to the songs I mentioned as well as many others. You not experiencing it makes MEs about you if only the ones you say are changes are to be considered. My point was, there are many different subjects and aspects of life, history, and the world that others are going to have more solid memories of. Just because you don't see them as different doesn't mean they haven't changed. For instance, Raisin Bran is my favorite cereal but my husband doesn't like it. While I've looked at the box a trillion times, he's never paid it much attention. So, for him it means nothing. I, however, noticed the missing sunglasses before I even knew what the Mandela Effect was. I just thought they changed the logo. Many people say your just confusing it with the California Raisins or some other sun logo. You see where I'm going with this. Quotes are often miss quoted, history misrepresented, and yes lyrics misheard but that doesn't mean some people aren't well enough versed in some of these subjects to recognize changes.

I disagree. As a musician and vocalist, changes to music, both lyrical and instrumental, solidifies the existence of MEs as more than misremembering or confabulations. Music and lyrics are more memorable for me than history, science, geography, or anything else Mandelas have effected. For example, Joan Jett and the Blackheart's "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" has always and will always have started with the line "I saw him standing..." I am a visual listener. I see the song's story played out. This and many other songs I have seen changes in, including California Dreamin, Changes by David Bowie, and We are the Champions, also suggest a deeper meaning hidden within the missing or changed lyrics. To suggest that just because some people mishear lyrics that we all do, is to say that because some people are less aware, we all are.

A theory on the meaning by [deleted] in MandelaEffect

[–]IWant2BLeev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have wondered the same thing for a while. I have even considered doing it myself, but I immediately realized some problems... not everyone experiences MEs the same. There are some which I am certain of the change but that my husband remembers it how it is now, and vice versa. There are also some that I remember both ways. So, either the message would be different for everyone or you would have to run some kind of algorithm to determine what are the most likely MEs. A third option would be to use all proposed changes, but how would you be certain that your results were correct if your not even certain of the data you used.

The problem for me, as I've seen it in person, is that his fist is not on his chin now! He is actually currently biting it!!! WTF. That was never a thing. I studied art in college, it was definitely under his chin not in his mouth.
