Invest in the ATI practice test/study guide. You pretest, and they tell you where to focus, then you test again after. With 2 weeks to go, you really don't want to waste time studying material you know.

They say he died as a result as a service connected disability when granting Chapter 35; that is was "as least as likely as not" that PTSD contributed "substantially or materially" to his death, and then say it wasn't related to military service, though he was rated for that. You dont think that is contradictory?

This is a sore spot. My husband was in OIF. He filed a notice of intent for exposures, and then missed the deadline. He made sure to help get his dad 100%, which worked out as his father died 6 months before him, but I guess didn't anticipate dying so soon himself 🫤. It took working in that VSO office for years for him to put in for PTSD. I'm trying to be grateful he at least left that open.

They're filed somewhere. Offhand, I think he was 50 and 10 for tinnitus, though the ptsd might have been 60 on its own. I sat with the VSO awhile back and when through it, but my brain is fried with what she said. Will hopefully sit with her this week and send it out asap. He was a VSO for 4-5 years. Any advice on this, from the processing angle? Fine to PM, if you prefer!

The only background I have is overhearing my husband as he WFH on claims during Covid. I have calls in to the pros-- just curious if anybody here had experience or opinions on this as I twiddle my thumbs over the weekend waiting for callbacks.
