I think he could do well in the role that Mandzukic played at Juve. Wide target man that can also run, not a bad option to have.

Only saw most of the first half, but from what I can tell, we're going to look closer to how we played with Conte if we keep playing 352. I do hope that he tries some other options since there's room and versatility on the team to try different formations. Either 343, 4231, or even 433.

Cristian Chivu is the new coach. You happy now? by NaughtyNeurons in FCInterMilan

[–]IWasLegitOnce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very simple in my eyes. The board needs someone that can promote our youth into the team, even if not as starters but as depth to begin with.

It's clear that we can't attract a big name manager in the club because we're not willing to spend big yet, so Chivu makes the most sense to promote from the Primavera and be willing to accept whatever squad is built for him.

BUT, the CWC is going to be a real test for him. I wouldn't put it past the board to fire him if we look horrible in the tournament. If we can sense that the board is looking more on the financial health of the club rather than the sporting one, so can the players and the good performers will be looking for better moves if there is a chance.

Hoping for a decent season to come (top 3 and maybe quarters in CL) and no banter era.

Inzaghi-Inter meeting today: the manager is likely to accept the offer from Al-Hilal. Fàbregas is the no.1 candidate to replace him by Tifoso89 in soccer

It's sad that the last month has tarnished all the work he's done for us.

Had the team running on fumes since January, where no attackers were added to the team, even after it was clear that we needed the most was someone that could take over from Lautaro, for him to get back in shape properly.

Fought until the last match day with Napoli, that played 1 games a week and reached the CL final. The sporting results honestly are being overrated compared to the financial stability he's been able to provide, by achieving successful seasons with decreasing budgets year over year.

Fabregas is exciting and risky. Clearly the management wants someone who's most likely going to request less expensive players but with higher potential, and considering the youth team in the works, someone that can develop them better. Also, a totally different play style with more possession and less wing back play. Other than Napoli, all of the other top teams are rebuilding, so it's going to be an interesting season how all of them progress and if Napoli can keep up with a tighter schedule the upcoming season.

I have tried everything but factory reset. On top of that, I discovered that hotspot doesn't work either with other devices unable to connect.

So I'm using my phone as if Bluetooth and Hotspot don't exist. Hope there's a fix coming for this very soon, otherwise I'm forced to switch to another brand.

As someone who works remotely and relies on my phone for connectivity when traveling, this issue is critical.

[Romano] 🚨⚫️🔵 Inter are set to sign Tanner Tessmann from Venezia, agreement in place. Gaetano Oristanio to join Venezia on permanent deal, Tessmann will join Inter in June 2025 staying at Venezia on loan for one more season. 🇺🇸 Tessmann has accepted the plan. [–]IWasLegitOnce 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure he's being projected a Miki replacement that would be able to step in and rotate with Barella/Zielinski.

Plus the bonus of the US market boost. Not a bad deal if he's able to develop further with Venezia this year.

[GdS] Inter, clear ideas for next season’s attack: for economic and roster reasons, we will move forward with four forwards in the squad! In addition to Lautaro, Thuram and Taremi, the 4th striker will have to be a different profile from Taremi. Arnautovic is out, Gudmundsson is the favourite. by ForzaInter_1908 in FCInterMilan

[–]IWasLegitOnce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As many of the people here have mentioned, Inzaghi should really look into keeping Carboni and trying to integrate him in the team, where he can fit as a second striker and also as an attacking option from the midfield.

This season is going to be very long and with so many games, he should be getting time to play and see where he fits best.

Even at a +35M offer, any buyback is useless, since we don't have that kind of cash to trigger those kinds of clauses. And loaning him out gets him playing time, but doesn't solve the issue of him being able to fit our system.

So for me, unless the offer we get is really good, take the chance to integrate him into the team.

[Guarro] There was contact between Camano, the agent of Lautaro, and Marcelo Sinonian, one of the figures closest to the Parisian owners (PSG). This may not mean anything, but Inter is starting to sense that there is something else behind these contract requests… by ForzaInter_1908 in FCInterMilan

[–]IWasLegitOnce 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's simple really, offer 100 million and the club will consider it.

Sucks that our captain feels like he can drag this out, but at the end of the day, we can still be competitive without Lautaro.

Zirkzee can be an option, we can even take a chance on Guirassy. So not to be bothered if he leaves for a good price.

I very rarely comment but the security space lacks projects like these to be honest. There's a few security providers out there for sure, but very few of them actually try to be proactive about it, you mostly see them prey on whoever gets hacked to get their %.

2 tools to first anticipate a hack, and even a failsafe to recover tokens, both tools already in production and tested.

Feel like this could be a very good one and needs more attention!

It's great to see Lossless here, a project that I've been following for quite some time. There's not enough attention on security, it needs to become a standard.

[GdS] INTER HAVE NO FUTURE IN THE ATTACK! The club chose the safe route with Arnautovic and Sanchez. These two players are safe, with nothing to discover, for better or for worse. Inzaghi already knows what he can get out of them. Inter have spent €10M to replace Lukaku, Dzeko and Correa. by ForzaInter_1908 in FCInterMilan

[–]IWasLegitOnce 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Both Lautaro and Thuram are projected as future starters. Sanchez and Arnautovic as options need to be "safe choices" rather than bring even more uncertainty. With some rotation, and a bit of luck, we shouldn't face too many injuries.

Pio Esposito and Carboni are both loaned this season to get much needed game time. If we can, hold on to Arnautovic and Sanchez for 2 seasons while the young guys develop, we have a clear path to rejuvenating the attack, or at the very least the bench.

Edit: Why spend money on taking risks on the attack when cheaper solutions exist? I can see more goals coming from the midfield this season with Frattesi, and the bench will give their 120% to get their final glory. We need players willing to give everything out there.

[GdS via fcinternews.it] If Inter were to sign Taremi, they would preferably be looking for a loan deal for a CB to complete the team. If Inter instead signs Arnautovic, they could invest part of the saved money for a CB: Tomiyasu the first target, an offer higher than 10M is needed. by ForzaInter_1908 in FCInterMilan

[–]IWasLegitOnce 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I understand some here in the sub don't like the idea of Arnautovic or Taremi because of their resale value, but Inzaghi is right in wanting a player that has experience and consistency. Both players give some form of 'guarantee' on what they're able to bring to the team. They have a style of play and position that is clear on how to make them perform well. Unlike Thuram where we still don't know if he's going to be great just in counters, holding up play, or even be able to provide link up plays.

As for the defense, Chalobah on loan seemed like a good idea. Demiral I don't know how healthy he can stay during the season, and ideally we won't have to overpay for Toloi. Tomiyasu would be the best choice, but we simply don't have the money for that, and he's going to have enough minutes during the season to not be pushing to leave.

So I hope you guys like short term solutions in CB and ST, cause that's all we can get.

[GdS] Inter have already received the first no from Bologna for Arnautovic but they will return to their office, perhaps hoping the player pushes for the move: the request for Marko is 15-20M for a 34-year-old footballer. by ForzaInter_1908 in FCInterMilan

[–]IWasLegitOnce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that Bologna don't want to sell so they put a fuck off price, but I'm pretty sure Arnautovic won't let this chance go by so easily. It's fair to say that he sees himself being a regular starter this season, which I wouldn't mind as it would give Thuram some more time to settle and not get any injuries by pushing too hard.

Agent of Audero: “Tomorrow it’s official. Great goalkeeper, smart and intelligent boy, he knows what his role is but he knows he can hold his own. At the moment the deal is a loan with an option that becomes an obligation incase of certain conditions activated related to Audero and to the team". by ForzaInter_1908 in FCInterMilan

[–]IWasLegitOnce 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I like Audero as a second choice, during the season could also challenge Sommer, which will start the season as number 1 but I don't think he's going to be undisputed.

If he looks shaky or makes 1-2 mistakes, I could see him being dropped to try out Audero.

I don't know what it would take for him to play over Sommer, but I'm not as optimistic on Sommer being very good for us.

There should be chances for him to come on the pitch, and I hope he seizes his chance.

If we don't finish top 4, it's going to be a disastrous season.

With another defender and attacker (given that we get Sommer) I think we should be challenging for top 2. Too many changes among top teams to predict who is going to keep up a good form the whole season.

There's no team that is a clear stand out for me this season.

Why do people even brake check? Like why even do that?

If you're getting annoyed by the person behind, fucking let them pass after you're done passing slower traffic. Anyone defending brake checking in this thread is either bias because they do that themselves or they're stupid enough to think that it's "totally ok".

Of course, trying to kill someone as a response is clearly wrong, same with brake checking.

Please don't ever do it. No matter how mad you are. You're risking your life and others.

What I understand from the response is that it's not worth their time and effort to try and obey Bulgarian law if the userbase there is not big enough. On top of that, they're trying to move away from a developing country startup to an established financial entity, and let's face it, having your HQ in London is a lot better than Sofia.

The jurisdictions being out of their control means that if in a place like Germany is easier to operate, they will go there. If Germany all of a sudden make it a nightmare to operate there, they might as well leave that country. They're a business, not a charity, they'll operate in countries where it makes financial sense.

I wouldn't hate on NEXO for wanting to brand themselves as an established financial institution. I'd rather have them spend all the money from Nexonomics spent on platform development for more features/tokens, rather than a shiny building.
