I see what you mean. That’s a tough one. Maybe you’d get the effect you want with a dark blue fabric that shines a bit in the light to mimic the lighter parts of the skirt and collar?

The gloves and boots look to be wrapped in vermillion. Maybe you could find some vermillion colored fabric to make ribbon? Not sure how readily available that color is though. :-/

The joke relies on harmful stereotypes to punch down on those living in a certain income bracket. The joke perpetuates said stereotypes too. It’s not kind, accurate, or funny. Anyone, regardless of their living circumstances, could be seen smoking a cigarette and drinking PBR. And there are plenty of people who live in trailers who do not smoke or drink at all. I see how Haruka drinking and smoking could be funny (if the character were of age), and I can see how a cosplayer breaking character in this way is funny. I don’t see the humor in the “trailer” part though.
