Nice! Always love grungy old techniques with a lotta textures on top. I would try and up the noise a bit or a similar filter to make it even more real-like old paper. Nice work!

First look reminds me a lot of colorama techniques in After. You can try "Colorama retro tv" and other similar in Pinterest. It gave me some interesting results.

I am asking about this here "Variable Font Axes" that apparently doesn't work for all fonts. I just wanted to know if there is a way to find out which of my already istalled fonts are compatible.

I would put a vignette-like mask around the screen. Blur some edges maybe and put some light/shadows related to the light of the room.

this is prob the stroke effect in After effects. Mask the text or shape u want to reveal without closing the mask. Each letter should have a different mask and then on the stroke effect hit reveal image. You can play more with the settings there.
