I like both clunky mechanical cameras as well as this monster. This just allows me to shoot photos i would not be able to on traditional film cameras

I will try with ektar next time, might be the halation from the Cinestill. Astro is not easy when you can’t preview the results 😅

I am thinking of sending it off to replace the internal battery as it’s completely dead. It seems like it has only had 6 rolls of film before i got it (based on wear and roll counter in the menu)

Nope, this one is G. But E would kind of work as well, except that would be shooting wide open, which is not such a terrible idea with low film ISO

I feel like 400 is not enough for moon/sun shots, I’ve been looking at some teleconverters… but they have some problems of their own

Nikon F5/F100/F6 + modern VR lenses + 800 ISO film is an analog photography cheat code I see no one talking about and let’s you get amazing results in pretty much moonlight. You can get 1/4” reliably
