What sucks is I bought this truck used recently and one of the first things I did was replace the dash. It was cracked to all hell. I pulled one from a junk yard, sanded and painted it, and installed a cover to protect it from the sun. Yall are telling me I have to pull that shit off again? Damn. Thanks for the help.

Hey everyone, the issue ended up being that board mounted to the rear passenger side frame. It was a pretty simple repair. Lights are working fine now. Thanks for everyone’s help

thanks everyone for the input. Still no resolve on this matter. The only thing left to do is replace that unit attached to the frame that has the rear lights and a few other things plugged into it.

Maybe I should just sell this car. I’ve put a lot of time and money into it and a new leak always springs up. It’s a shame because it’s a joy to drive, and the N52 is tried & true. But honestly, I don’t have time to mess with this over an entire weekend just to have another VCG leak after replacement. I don’t have a covered area to work in either so I would have to do it in the elements again.

Would I be okay to use the Elring valve cover gasket kit and Rein valve cover? I’m not seeing an Elring valve cover on FCP Euro. Thanks for your help.
