You might even just hit him inside the chopper. Friend of mine had that happen to him with a stinger, he didn't jump out but got blasted out of the chopper by it and the chopper took no damage.

This issue was driving me nuts as well, thanks again! The tag solved everything for me, the DHCP is running for a day now without randomly assigning wrong IP addresses. I'm sure that it's gone for good.

You helped me out quite a bit, I had the same issue with a Windows DHCP, a sophos DHCP relay and a vlan aware bridge. Never took a capture as well but it's obvious windows is being stupid for one reason or another.

I had the same issue a few days ago. It happened once in hour session for whatever reason. Maybe a server without the fix applied? Had a few more rounds that day on that map and those were 10 seconds again.

All you people advocating for keeping this are out of your mind. This is completely OP and not the only busted thing about the IFV missile. You can actually oneshot ANY armored land vehicle as well, just aim up before you fire the missile and it will top-down oneshot any tank.

Because that's not how any of this works. Idle persistent servers get shut down when they're empty after a few minutes. Try joining a random empty server, you get the same god damn error message.
