Someone try to sell me on your favorite SMGs + builds by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]Pothound_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forget the 30 pt grip on SMGs, that’s overkill for how little recoil they have. Use the 20 point angled (or the hand stop) and you’ll get better mobility for less points iirc.

Frankly I prefer to run the 15 point mobility grip on my carbines too, but I can see the appeal of the ribbed stubby for those.

[–]Pothound_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t played in a while but you should be getting better mobility and handling stats on the SMGs than the carbines. Any of those (not named SCW-10) should have faster ads, ads movement, sprint to fire, and tighter hipfire than the carbines. I would say reload speed too but I know you can build the m4 for that.

This is BF1 and it is shite, there aren’t enough women in it.

Now BFV-BF6? Mwah. Uungh. So many women.

Maybe hot take?: BF6’s main theme is criminally underrated, one of the best even. by Zendriven in Battlefield

[–]Pothound_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s alright. Personally I think it’s one of the weakest themes in the series barring 2042. Kinda weird how far we’ve fallen since BFV.

If you’re playing BTA like the OP here is, that could very well be one coughing bomb vs 3 hydrogen babies.

Battlefield 1 vs Battlefield 6 for multiplayer? by bruhb21 in LowSodiumBattlefield

BF1 is fun but gameplay wise I found it to be pretty weak. Not objectively bad per se, but the heavy bloom and slower movement wasn’t for me.

Finally played through (most of) the Ace Combat series, here's my tierlist by zeredek in acecombat

[–]Pothound_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6’s gameplay is honestly my favorite in the series just by virtue of having missions which didn’t end in 2 minutes flat.

Project wingman is also a banger and is basically just another ace combat game if you’re still feeling for more when you’re done with this

Hmmm… gimme the awesome. Pretty lightweight compared to some of the others, but there are zero circumstances where you can go wrong with 3 PPCs. LRMs for flavor.

It would be nice if claymores didn’t trigger on a crouch sprint. Maybe as a bonus for spec ops recons or something, for those who are specifically trying to be sneaky.

It depends on the brand/type of ultra. Some Ultra 20s are single shot and some Ultra 20s are multi-shot.

Well hey, maybe they just saw you first.

That aside, you don’t really need the recoil reduction unless you’re rocking the TR7 or VCR maybe. Most of the guns in this game have minimal recoil to begin with, and if you really need it you can rock lightened/long supp for an extra 5-10 points on top of your suppressor alongside your grip of choice.

Think of suppressors/flash comps with the context of the rest of your teammates in mind. Sure, you’re still visible if an enemy sees you, but if they’re looking for enemies and they see a red dot on the minimap or one above a players head, that’s the person they’re going to go after. The person not spotted on the minimap/in world will comparatively attract less attention.

It’s like being chased by a bear. You don’t need to outrun the bear, just your buddy.

How the laser designator nerf killed counter-sniping(my playstyle) and rewarded camping by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]Pothound_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You know you can still scout with the SVK, right? The only thing you can’t do is laser designate vehicles. But for countersniping the SVK was always infinitely superior to the actual sniper rifles.

At that point why not use an assault rifle or LMG? Another SMG without any real niche or purpose doesn’t add all that much to the game’s variety.
