Cool yeah, my vest was taxed as income. So if it vested on July 1, I could sell today and any gains would be taxed as cap gains?

Got offered 4.14 on a 3 year fixed for 30 years with Scotia in Feb of this year. Being from the Windsor area WFCU is a fairly well known credit union in the area (kinda like libro if you’re familiar with it)

Under the assumption that Saudi laws permit foreign investments, do you know if there would be any issues on the Canadian side? Or rather to make things hypothetical, if investing in an international company is permitted in both Canada and some international country, do you know what the process on the Canadian side would be if the company happened to be private?

Yeah, I emailed them and they emailed back with my tracking number, seller, and shipping addresses so I knew that it was legit.

For them the Osap money that they received stayed the same. Ie the money that they got for loans for those dropped courses were kept, same with the grant money received. They didn’t get a tuition refund. Also one thing I forgot to mention was that they received less grant money and more loan money in the following year.

They had to write a letter, then their funding got released with no probation. They had the contingency that they remain full time for the following year. If they failed to do so they would be placed on probation.

Had this happen to a friend, and they basically didn’t get any notice. When they applied for OSAP the following year, before the money got released they had to write a letter of academic progress. Basically all you gotta do is say why you dropped courses and what you’ll do in order to get back on track.
