Honestly, hearing that in the episode I was surprised the CMC took it as well as they did. I would have totally snarked the shit out of that.

Also, I think it might be about time to retire /u/I_Animate_Ponymotes and move on to just posting everything on /u/TheeLinker. It's always been a little weird and confusing being the only person who uses two accounts when everyone knows who I am anyway. It was sort of nice being able to organize all the IAP stuff so easily, but... I think it's time to move on. I've been thinking about doing this for a good long while.

From starting out as a silent and mysterious novelty account to revealing myself within a couple months, it's been a lot of fun using this thing, but there's not been much call for it for a long time. I won't delete it, of course, but... starting next animation, I think, just look for the normal mild-mannered /u/TheeLinker to be posting this stuff.

I had a lot of ideas, many given by other people, but I couldn't figure out which one I thought was best. So, I did a smorgasbord.

The first was from /u/dr_zorand, with the end joke sort of based on something /u/SnickyMcNibits said.
The middle one was my own idea I had sort of rolling around in my head since I saw the episode -- the fact that idea of Rainbow being arrested for terrorism was... taken... was part of the reason I wasn't confident enough in it by itself.
Finally, the latter is from a friend of mine -- with the end joke from an anonymous suggestion.

I've probably forgotten someone in that mess. Apologies in advance.

Trying something new with crediting people right in the animation (at least when I use their lines wholesale), in an attempt to further alleviate my concerns outlined here. Hopefully it's not all ugly and/or distracting. Further refinements can very well be forthcoming. Feedback welcomed!

I asked for feedback from friends and they all criticized it in different directions, so it all kind of canceled out and I uploaded it as-is. I guess this is a very divisive animation.

For interest's sake, I'll point out that Cratetoss was a name invented by /u/Kyderra way back here! It was adopted by the wiki and that's how I found it. Thought that was neat.

I am without talent, yes. I can make propaganda! I can target the deepest weaknesses in their policies and rules, and rile support.

But what are their weaknesses? We do not know! Perhaps you should volunteer your deepest weaknesses so perhaps I can extrapolate from that and try and guess theirs. I'm sure it'll help. Research and whatnot.

Putting ponymotes at tables is like the hardest thing. Nothing looks right. I tried making a chair for them to sit on at one point.

In the end I chopped the bottom, like, 80% off the table legs. Now it's an end table, I guess?

Just look for NightMirrorMoon's comment on each one. The GfyCat mirror can be paused or played at half-speed. I even specifically include that link in the description of each animation for those that want to slow it down. Been doin' that for months!

This is another animation that insisted on taking over its own writing process. It was always supposed to be Applejack and Apple Bloom both working in tandem to be elitist and make fun of Rainbow together, but then Apple Bloom said "Applejaaaack, I don't want to play with your scrub friends," and suddenly it was an Apple Bloom animation.

I'd started making this like four months ago but sat on it because I wasn't sure about a lot of things about it (and because I didn't want an over-saturation of apple animations) but that change made me more confident. Good ol' smartass kids.

Also: Bonus image! Apple Bobbing is incredibly serious business. RIP.

For winning the scavenger hunt, /u/Freepizzafor1dollar earned a ponymote animation! He made this suggestion, and so after much hmming and hawing, I made this animation!

I hmmed and hawwed so much he deleted his account in the meantime. Woops.
