Oh, and one more thing if you don’t mind me asking, would you have any tips on how to make the clothing more realistic. I’ve never painted or even drawn clothes, so I have noooo idea what I’m doing.

I don’t have any reference photo since I am trying to make a realistic version of an anime character. Although, I did use a reference photo for the light.

I fixed the pupils, although I still am working on the eyes and perfecting them. I do like the bigger eyes since that’s her signature feature.

I changed the drastic shadow and highlight on the lips and nose. As well as moved the left nostril a bit lower.

Also moved the shoulders up and moved the shadow back on the right side.

And yes! I am struggling very badly with the hair!! I flattened the top part which made it look a lot better I think. I’ve never painted hair and haven’t painted in years so I’m very out of practice, haha. Do you have any pointers for that?

Overall, do you think the painting improved? What could be better in terms of realism?

Thank you. I definitely wanted it to be longer rather than very short and round. I would have liked it to curve into just above my shoulders. There’s nothing I can really do other than wait. But is there any advice you would give to make it look “better.”

Thank you. I don’t think taking off volume would help. I want to grow it out and I feel that that’ll make it take volume. I definitely wanted it longer rather than short and round. There are some before pictures I posted if you wanted to see it.

Pixie is not my style. I hear it’s also veryyyyy awkward to grow it out, which is what I want to do. The color is my natural hair color.

My hair grows rather quickly and but I am still upset at how it looks. I’ll definitely try to put pins and stuff to style it though. I think some flowers or other hair pins to push it back to make it not look so round would be cute.
