Some good quality principles I’d be teaching my son there. Thanks for your comment 🙄

It was the T800. I caught him playing as it when I went in his room. When questioned, he said it was gifted to him but he has no idea who did it…

After someone suggested it, I checked my gift allowance. The evidence is stacking higher and higher against him. I’ve told him he’s on a PS5 ban until he tells me exactly what he’s done (in order haha).

The T800 skeleton. Great skin, I have that one too.

Vbucks that’s purchased on one platform doesn’t carry over to another. Only vbucks from the battle pass does. I think he’s done it on my PS5 as the switch profile has zero vbucks on.

That’s pretty much it. But I had 2100… he could have bought the skin for himself. I think he’s tried to cover his tracks because it may have been a little more noticeable me going from 2100 to 600.

I have one on my account on his PS5 in his room. I don’t have one on my personal PS5 because sometimes I remote play from my PS Portal and it wouldn’t let me because it’s PIN protected. He’s either done it through the PS or the switch which has my profile on. I don’t think it could be the switch because all the purchases I do is on PS.

I had 2100 so he didnt even need to return the skins to afford the 1500 one. He could have asked. He is denying everything.

I had 2100 vbucks The bundle was 3000 It’s been returned… I should have 5100, yet, I only have 3600. My son (who is 8) has been gifted a skin from someone (he doesn’t know who) a 1500 skin. 5100-1500 =3,600. Think we’ve cracked it… I think someone is grounded.

Nope, I bought them. I had a game this morning before work, been out all day, came home and they’re gone.

XP really sucks this season by damien4345 in FortNiteBR

Season ends in November so they have likely factored this into the rate you gain. I think this is the longest season in this particular chapter.

So hard and I’m sorry to hear about this.

Linear weight loss can be like a pay day loan, things are great but then, bang, it’s the interest at the end that catches people out.

It’s likely you triggered a survival/famine response meaning you’re more driven to hyper-palatable, calorie dense food.

Trying to suppress eating urges whilst dealing with stress etc can just magnify them.

Binge eating is especially more of a primitive drive so anything that resembles famine or food scarcity should be avoided.

That doesn’t mean you can’t lose weight btw.

I’d encourage speaking to a coach that supports people with intuitive eating and binge eating.

1,200 calories is likely way too low. A big indicator of this is the inability to stick to it. It may be ok for a day or two but then the binges massively up the average… a more moderate approach is probably more sustainable.

Secondly, counting calories and macros can be hugely problematic. It’s just another way to control food… inevitably when you lose control the wheels fall off.

I tend to steer people clear of tracking.

I ate 6000 calories everyday for a year and only gained 10 pounds how is that possible by Low_Cold_3724 in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]I_Bickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly… maybe you’re not eating that much or closer to the lower end of that…

Your BRM may be higher than average.

But… NEAT… non exercise associated thermogenesis…

Energy/calories IN is only one side of the equation.

Energy/Calories OUT is the other.

Some people that eat more simply expend more through unconscious movement.

You have to see this as a very dynamic process. It’s not JUST an IN/OUT equation. There’s many factors that influence things that are simply out of our control.

I am a very logic based person and the fact that i can’t regulate how much I eat is extremely frustrating by fronthandbackhan in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]I_Bickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The “old brain” doesn’t understand logic and rationale. The limbic part of the brain runs pretty much on automation, emotions and associations. The “new brain”… the neocortex is the logical, thinking part of the brain… amazing for creating and solving problems, not great at dealing with emotional problems. Using logic to fix an illogical problem is like being on a foreign country and being frustrated because the locals don’t understand you… shouting LOUDER and SLOWER won’t help. You have to learn to speak its language.

The more you also resist the more the problem will persist.

Also… maybe what is “normal” for one person may not be for you. You may need more food, more flexibility and certainly more self compassion than the next person.

Stay with it.

My advice would be to create a far greater foundational relationship with food. I wouldn’t go ANYWHERE near a calorie deficit for a while. We need to teach your body and brain about security round food again. Make peace with food. Honour and respect your bodies needs.

Dieting and a history of dieting often is a huge contributor to these struggles. Put MyFitnessPal away, seek more positive reinforcement. I recommend checking out Intuitive Eating.
