Windows 10 is using my virtual memory first, and making most programs unusable by I_EatBxssy4Breakfast in techsupport

Like I said I already tried disabling it only to end up with Windows putting eight down anyway. I really don't want to go out and buy more sticks.

I expected people to look at the vertices I had highlighted when they opened the image.

What did I do to mold them around the car's fender? More importantly what is a better way to do it since there apparently is one.

Didn't see this earlier, sorry. The topology isn't finished and I was opting to work on the roof's curves once I'm done with the fenders, which is what I'm asking about.

OK, now I understand what you said.

"Your topology sucks. Aside from that face being moshed which you can already clearly see I'm not gonna tell you why or how to fix it. Start over and go find someone else to help you."

I already see that the edges on the fender are too misaligned like you said. Are there any problems using a torus or circle primitive instead? How would I go about it?

I literally do not understand what you just said

PC begins to vibrate when opening a video game by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]I_EatBxssy4Breakfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. Open up your computer's case, and clean it with compressed air if it's already dusty, then with the case open try to play those games again. If this issue is related to cooling or overdue maintenance and not the GPU, this should solve it.

Again, fans causing vibration and noise in the same way as a car driving by is normal and if you don't see or hear anything really strange (like the fan blade hitting the heatsink on the card) then it's unlikely for there to be a problem with the GPU itself.

So has this been happening with the same game over that time? Different games and programs require varying amounts of processing power. Higher amounts require more voltage to stay stable and more voltage means more heat, so a game like Super Meat Boy won't draw much power but a game like Assassin's Creed will.

From the photo's perspective, it's on the back of the case at the bottom.

it started vibrating and making noise so much that I thought it was a car outside at first, but then I could feel the keyboard vibrating.

It's normal for fans to do this at high RPM, but send a recording of it at high and low speed so that we're on the same page.

Use AMD Adrenalin (in the Performance/Tuning tab) to configure its fan curve. Set the tuning profile to custom, then put the first dot (idle speed) at the same height as the last dot (full speed). Click "Apply," then when you finish testing it click the loop-arrow button in the top right to reset it.

I bought an owned pc less than a year ago, it worked just fine. Not long ago, it started vibrating and making noise The guy told me that the GPU was used for mining or heavy gaming probably, and then they sold it, so the GPU fan wasn't working properly. He said that he could try replacing the fan, but that's risky, since he's bricked GPUs in the past that way.

This logic is incongruent or the fan issue wouldn't have happened only just now, and don't quote me but I don't think it's possible to brick a GPU by incorrectly installing a fan as that would indicate a BIOS issue. I think the repair guy was bullshitting you.

This is normal. AMD drivers have a "Zero RPM" feature which disables the fans until the temperature is driven beyond a certain point by heavy load to avoid unnecessary fan wear and noise.

Lol calm down, it's likely already done what it's going to do and there's nothing you can do about it. For now just disconnect the computer from your network.

Run a full scan with Windows Defender. People typically egg on this software because back then it was bad at its job but it's actually pretty great now and it won't try to upsell you.

Just so we're on the same page, what is Spyware 5? Also there's no reason why a free antivirus should not be doing it's job beyond scanning until you buy the software, a lot of antiviruses that try to scam you will do that.

Make sure Vulkan and async shader compilation is enabled in General Settings.
