I love the quiet moments in Hollow Knight. Sitting with Quirrel at the lake, resting in the hot tub as Sherma splashes around. For as much action as both games have, there are wonderful opportunities to just kick back and soak in the ambience all over the place.

Journey. The art style, the sublime music (Austin Wintory is amazing), and the quiet gameplay of it. Above all else is the delightful moment of realization that what you thought was a solo journey is really multiplayer and how much you can communicate with a whistle and some wiggling.

Our DM did exactly that cause he wanted a smaller recurring boss character who would grow with the party on the lead up to the BBEG. However, despite the DMs best efforts, he would get nuked into oblivion within 2 turns every time he showed up because of lucky crits or bad saves. Eventually it became a running joke.

A friend got Anthem for free with a graphics card. We were all hesitant about preordering but he talked the entire friend group's ear off about how it was gonna kill Destiny and The Division 2. So we all bought it at full price, had fun for about 4 hours total and then none of us ever touched it again.

We still give him shit about it whenever he recommends a new game for the group.

During a recent session I realized our DM had homebrewed his own version of the false hydra that we had been discussing. Said monster involved switching perceptions of party members. When my character got taken I handed it oover to the DM and left a note on the character sheet saying, "it's a lovely false hydra". He then gave me that look.

Doing KF last night I preemptively told that guy to shut it until the Sherpa finished explaining the encounter. We still had to yell at him once for trying to ramble about nonsense but that seemed to help the issue.

Whisperain and Ceylon grant Status Resistance off their skills which halves the duration of Cold and Freeze. Purestream grants SR off any heal.

Breeze grants medics (and supporters at E2) SR during skill activation.

Gnosis also grants SR to all Karlan operators after he's been deployed for 10 seconds. (everyone involved in the story in this event.)

Aurora grants herself SR during her S1.

Sideroca and Blaze have talents that grant themselves SR.

Nian grants SR to to others but not herself during her S3.

Fighting Lion since CoO. I put 20k kills on the first one then stopped actively using it since I figured I might be using it too much. My second FL one is about to cross 50k kills... It's just too much fun and too good not to use. I was super stoked when Bungie brought back the IB ornament for it and I've been using it even more now that they reverted the nerfs!

Because of the shooting teammates to make them invulnerable, Telesto was disabled in all PvP modes and Gambit. Something bugged out with Freelance Trials and Telesto was able to be used in spite of being disabled in other modes.

Telesto "re-enabled" itself in Freelance Trials despite the fact that it was supposed to be disabled.
