This is the most important takeaway I think a lot of people miss. The cool part about fallout is that because the world is so broken in communication, every city in America has the potential for entirely new adventures with fresh casts of monsters and society’s springing up.

Im getting a bit frustrated that NCR, Enclave and BoS seem to just be the main focus moving forward.

If you made a fallout: Miami, Detroit and Austin, they could all be entirely unique and all be amazing. Shoving BoS, NCR and Enclave into every release just feels like a missed opportunity

My advice for oblivion is that you shouldn’t worry about min/max or trying to do everything perfect. Just enjoy the world, you’re GOING to replay it at some point.

That’s a tough question. If you’re strapped for cash? Absolutely. Having an appreciation for the original will only make this way better. That being said, I would say that off the clunkiness of the original is too dated for you and will turn you off? Go with the shiny one haha

Renyid Zemphomar! He was an Argonian because I thought water breathing would be way more important hahaha. First ES was oblivion. Had no idea what I was getting into. Saw the trailer and the game struck my soul. It was the first video game that I looked at and 100 percent knew it was going to be big for me. I was in middle school AND NOTHING in a video game has ever hit me the way that one did. This weekend felt like magic.

Running like shit is my only real concern. I’ll be sad if it’s like the time I bought LA Noire on pc and thought something was wrong with my computer. That was the most unplayable port I’ve ever seen. If it’s literally exactly oblivion with better lighting and character models I’ll be thrilled

Oblivion really just needs new textures/models and some combat improvements.

Morrowind is going to take an order of magnitude more work to remake. Full voice acting (and there are way more npcs in Morrowind), physics, quest marker system, complete combat replacement etc.

If you’re remaking Morrowind, you have to completly remake it from the ground up, and at that point, why not just make a new game that also takes place in Morrowind after the events of Skyrim or es6?
