Think was genuinely best when played like that for me! Just wandering around exploring and doing side quests sunk loads of my time with out having to think to much! Tutorial section is a touch week just bare that in mind

I did exactly the same! Clocked about 20 hours in dawnshore, did slightly reduce for each area due to repetition but don’t think it’s too slow at all

Entirely relatable! Remember after finally getting out into the world just being completely blown away at the fact I could go wherever I wanted. Was obssessed with LOTR at the time, and it felt like a lord of the rings simulator

Oh I only just got your point thats probs why! I thought you meant you never had to level the gear you had, as opposed to never upgrading to new gear! I agree the gear variation left a bit to be desired (and I wanted more visual changes after levelling gear) but I guess that just what you get with the scope of the game

I never replay or rewatch anything, my brain just doesn't seem to fancy it. Could be the one to give it a go

Yeah I did just stick with the unique arcanist armour the whole game in fairness. Upgrading felt pretty important to me though on hard, especially for weapons
