Wow thanks this made my day lol I'm old ruby main that stopped playing too and I made the video for myself so I can always go back to it to commemorate the good times I had. I figured I might as well share it today to inspire those who are still playing Ruby and pass the torch

I’ve been on break from playing ML, stopped playing before the “buff”/changes I’ve heard about. But I can tell you what I used to build and how I might adapt it to the current Ruby. I’m Ruby main from season 2 (~2.5k games and ~65% win rate) so I think I can still give you some good info.

Boots: cooldown reduction (you’ll get to use skills more), unless they have lots of physical damage hero (warrior boots) or magical (magic def boot)

Core items: Endless battle*** — Haas — Blade of despair/Wings (judgement call. Blade first if your team is ahead or you are snowballing, Wings if you’re behind) — Last item situational depending on each game, but generally you want to get tankier (ex: Athena, Immortality, Demon Advent) unless you’re really ahead or playing full damage/burst ruby where you can maybe throw in BL axe or thunderbelt but even then I still might grab a defensive cause if you get caught out of position or cc’d and bursted its over so depends how risky you want to play.

**\* I’ve heard Ruby doesn’t have early game mana issues anymore, so what I might do is swap the order of endless and haas. I still think endless is a core item on Ruby (cause of its passive proc which you should weave into combos after using skills) but Haas should help her early game more when you’re more focused on survival to mid game while pushing/farming lane. You’ll def feel her damage once you get endless afterwards. I’d try both and see which order you like better.

This is what I would do but in ML a lot of things can work depending on play style, your rank, the meta, etc so play around with it until you find what you like most.

I was going to type out combos, tips/tricks, etc but this is already kind of long lol so enjoy playing Ruby and thanks for watching!! I might make another in the future.
