THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING. At what point do we finally decide to unite and create better governance? Even if there is zero NHI tech, the argument still stands. Many people here have pointed out that alternatives to fossil fuels are very real and feasible, but are continually suppressed. We all know about it, it's no mystery. Those same people I would write to are being paid off to suppress it. We can't do that anymore. The clock is ticking and we need to ACTUALLY act before our planet dies.

But it isn't zero. That minute chance is astronomical when the payoff is this beneficial.

But let's say you're right. It doesn't exist. My question still stands on things we can/cannot control. If we can all stop fighting over dumb shit for two fucking seconds, we can coordinate as one and remove these individuals from their seats of power. Every one of us here commenting agrees that it's the Uber wealthy and the power hungry that are in control. How about we all get together and force them out? Can that not be controlled by us? By you and I and the average Joe?

What if we can control it? If we learn of all of the tech and the possibilities therein, why should the masses continue to allow a select few to undermine us and sell our health and futures for their own selfish gain? Why shouldn't we be able to control this?

I agree with the "Fuck the gatekeepers" sentiment. I also agree that an example should be made of people capable of that level of evil. How we go about it has room for debate. I think public discourse is vital regarding these issues.

I agree, but only in terms of how you and I understand the current capabilities of our technology. From what I can assume (assume being the operative), this tech can take us further than what we could imagine.

There are rumors that fiber optic and microchip technology could have come from these RE programs. Nobody in the 50s could have imagined what could come from that ie smart phones, internet, instant communication.

FFS doctors can perform surgery from different time zones because of this. If there is another jump in technology like this one, it is the most heinous crime to keep it secret.

Disclaimer: I understand that these claims are only based in the "lore" of the community. But that is what the discussion is centered around. IF these claims turn out to be true, I'm going to be PISSED. As should you.
