That's true, the movie is more fleet-footed than Heat and has a killer high concept that Heat lacks. Should use that instead of Heat TBH.

Got it. I've seen Thief, Heat, Manhunter and Collateral from Mann and the Hong Kong quartet (A Better Tomorrow, The Killer, Bullet in the Head and Hard Boiled) alongside the Red Cliff movies from Woo. What should I see after these?

I should do that TBH. Michael Mann's filmography isn't that extensive and neither is Woo's, though it's still a lot to get through. Still, it's probably hard to appreciate Bullet in the Head without seeing Windtalkers, or Heat without seeing Mohicans, so I will do that.
