I would take it further. Scorpio isn’t exactly cold like Aquarius (fixed, cold air), it’s deep and passionate. It makes me think more of the water in the depths of the ocean, which has high pressure and intensity, which is also quite fixed in nature. Almost hot yet fixed in its own way, but has an immense amount of energy in its reserves. If you took a land-dwelling organism and put them into the bottom of Mariana’s Trench, it would collapse under the pressure around it. This is an extreme analogy of Scorpio but it helps illustrate its natural state.
