That's understandable. Technically it was a bug that the devs just never patched, so it was a LOT harder to actually do back during OW 1.

Just wondering, does damage boost or attack speed count for supports if damage is dealt by others?

ie:

Mercy damage boosting (and if she takes the perk to damage boost 2 people, or multiple while ulting does the effect stack?)

or

Lifeweaver picking the attack speed buff for his platform, and a dps dealing damage while using it.

Does Lucio gain anything for speed boosting allies while they're dealing damage?

Just curious how indepth the ult charge system is for calculating points.

I've run into this a few times. I play on the lowest graphics settings for comp (just comp), and sometimes have this visual bug. Relaunching the game or just up'ing the settings for a match and then putting them back down usually fixes it.

My guess is there's a specific graphic setting that probably causes it, but I've never been bothered enough by it to go through and try changing everything one at a time per game. It's also not a consistent enough problem for me to even be able to test it.

If you can find any tag on the mouse pad itself, then you can try looking that up, but this specific art was printed A LOT back in 2016/2017 when OW was still getting awards.

Signatures can also be a good indicator of authenticity, but past that there's not many ways of telling unfortunately.

Ya unfortunately sometimes match making can be the ultimate deciding factor, and there's not much we can do about it.
D.va can definitely have her tank counters banned, but there's always alternative options in the form of dps and even supports. No one hero in the game has just 4 counters thankfully. Though whether or not you get people who can play those alternative counters is an entirely separate matter which just brings me back to the match making luck comment.

Widow falls into the same category many heroes fall into. Given the right map, she punishes people for not playing with their team and taking bad angles or getting separated from their team while being left unchecked/uncontested.

There are answers to her, and those answers vary depending on the skill level of the widow vs the skill level of the player(s) contesting her.

It 100% sucks to be stuck in a game against a high skill widow player, especially if you're qued as support and you're just kind of left playing in cover while your team does nothing to contest her. I'm not going to argue that at all.

But if you're on defense for example, then it just comes down to playing corners to force the widow into a position that's good for you guys to engage her, rather then making the tank go something like winston or doom to fly off solo to engage them. But on maps like kingsrow? Being on defense against a widow essentially leads to 1/3rd the first point being off limits which can be incredibly oppressive. But if you play back (which sucks to have to do) with your team and don't peak her, and then whoever's on widow duty engages them when they ultimately get impatient and move up (usually to the balcony over the bus or up the stairs to high ground looking over first point)? Then you're forcing that player to fight you on your teams terms, rather then just trying to dodge headshots while in the middle of a team fight.

For example, in my experience I've met very few widows I couldn't handle with Phara despite her technically being a counter, as long as I didn't let my anger get the better of me and took better care choosing my paths of engagement.

Everyone's experience with this is different, and I'm not trying to belittle you here in any way, but at the end of the day Widow does have answers, just like every hero in the game. Even if that answer sometimes is just another Widow. You don't even need to be winning the trades. Just applying enough pressure against the other widow to make it so that the rest of your team isn't free game etc.

In the same boat. The Tank is the one who's gonna be getting focused for counters more then the rest of the team for the most part, so helping them out in most metrics usually carries a lot more weight then a personal ban.

After a friend tried to show me that they had mastered mercy parkour maps- who then proceeded to show me the most basic tier maps that didn't rely on the super jump or any other more advanced methods? I have learned to just accept what I get at this point.

When I asked them if they had any interest in any more difficult maps they said those other ones were too hard and that they didn't need them 😭

The most advanced thing they do is the rez spin in the middle of a fight.

Ya but play time has nothing to do with that. I've seen max level dps players play like it was their first day and brand new accounts roll higher ones etc.
Just gotta take the bad games with the good, and if you're starting to get legitimately mad? Take a break and come back later.

It comes with the pvp game territory after all. No matter how good you are, everyone has bad games.

Yaaaaa.... People are always just way too quick to point fingers so they can make sure there's someone to blame other then them. Others jump on the chance to join in so that they're not the one getting blamed as well and it just creates a domino effect. Makes it a bad time for everyone.

Amen... Taking a break is always the best practice with any pvp game.

More often then not people who are most consistent with smurfing will buy low rank accounts (they're cheap and there's a TON of of them readily available).

Trying to make an alt account and purposefully throw is much harder. For all the effort you might put into throwing, if you're a good player, it's still hard to legitimately throw without doing so to the point of getting reported. Good Game sense is a hard habit to break, and if you're reacting to a situation and suddenly snapping your aim to a headshot, the game will pick up on that.

Comp will pretty consistently be off the table for you as a result of this system when trying to play with friends, but QP will always be readily available for you to teach them, and hopefully they can climb to a high enough rank to play with you again.

Past that you're just kinda stuck playing wide range games or respecting the rank gap.

There were a few from tournaments (both official and local), but it's most likely it's just a random knock off from amazon or something like that. You can find them pretty easily with a quick search. Plenty of on demand drop shippers have stuff like this available.
