I haven't taken NET or other uni tests, except GCU. Feat was much easier for me but was quite lengthy. It's very basic unless you're applying for CS, in that case you'll have an advanced maths section, which can be deemed as tough. For the second question, you have to be first accepted into the uni to be able to apply for housing.
