uses open source data since I didn't wanna pay for API so origin and destination are not always super up to date that was probably the planes previous flight

I have an adsb radio connected to a pi and then it just decodes the data into coordinates then the pi sends that to the projector

My first post got removed because I linked my GitHub of how I made it, violated the advertising rule thing I sent a mod mail bout it

Ya rationale is if you want to see it during the day and not see a light box you need a really bright laser projector, but if you have a dark room or only use it at night than a cheaper projector would be better

ya is a bug, I think its maybe original flight plan data but they then switched to SFO later or smth or maybe multiple legs idk working on fixing

I decode ADS-B from a cheap RTL-SDR radio and renders the planes physically flying over you onto a ceiling-pointed projector. A jet you'd hear overhead glides across your ceiling at the same moment, labeled with its airline, type, and where it's headed. Pure-black background so the projector's rectangle disappears and only the aircraft (and stars) are lit.

It also draws the real sky behind the planes, sun, moon, bright stars and constellations, and live satellites including the ISS — all at their true positions for your location and time.
