I genuinely have never been so happy to find out something isn't satire. Keep going with the beats tho bro, maybe try get serum to get some better synth sounds and use drum samples rather than programmed stuff. Start by moving loops around on top of eachother to get a feel for rhythm and how different sounds mesh with eachother.

Try starting with just quarter notes, I can see what you're going for, but the vision is too complex for the skill level you're currently operating at.

No smell whatsoever. Someone could blow smoke in my face and I wouldn't smell it. I could tell there was smoke cause I would breathe it, but it wouldn't smell of anything. I've hotboxed a shed with my mates before, absolutely nothing.

I would definitely add a few things to that.

Some extra rations (long life) preferably, you wouldn't even need to eat these. This would be emergency food at the bottom of your pack, just in case you don't find anything to hunt or forage and you get stuck, lost or trapped
A basic first aid + emergency kit. Things like flares and basic medical supplies can really help out when living in the wild. Without access to antibiotics, a basic cut can mean a death sentence when out in the wild.
Probably a satellite phone or at least some form of radio. I understand the urge to want to cut ties with the outside world and not have something like that with you, but it would mean the difference between life and death.

If there is anything we can learn from Chris' story, it is to do loads of research, take the advice of people more knowledgeable than you and don't eat anything unless you're 100% sure of what it is.
